"Imagination Journeys" For 5-12 Yrs No. 2

'Imagination Journeys' are a wonderful way for children to focus inward and REAL...ise the Love that they ARE!
In this series of 3 journeys they meet their Special Friend (true Self), who they can adventure with, talk to and be inspired by.
A new adventure where they meet a beautiful, golden dragon, who will be another companion, happens in the 2nd Track.
All 3 of them travel with dolphins and a mermaid to discover a precious crystal that's especially for them in track 3.
Parents can listen too, so they can foster conversations that will arise organically.

Hello again,

It's Karen.

I'm so glad you came back again for another imagination journey.

I hope you've been visiting your special friend in the garden and had lots of fun.

Are you ready for another adventure?

I know you are.

You're already sitting or laying with your hands on your belly.

Well done.

Ready to start belly breathing.

So here we go.

Breathing in and letting the belly rise up.

And then breathing out and the belly and your hands go back down.

Breathing in,

Belly rises up,

Pushing your hands up.

And breathing out,

The belly drops down again.

Breathing in again and this time when you're breathing out just whisper inside your head,

Let go.

That's it.

And you'll feel your whole body letting go and relaxing when you breathe out.

Let's try that one more time.

Breathing in,

Belly rising up,

And then whispering,

Let go.

As you breathe out and the belly goes back down again.

You're feeling so relaxed and so peaceful.

Can you see the special garden?

That's right there.

And I want you to go into the special garden through the gate.

Can you see anything in there this time that's different?

Your garden will always change.

It changes all the time.

Have a good look around.

What can you see?

Are there any new flowers?

Or any new trees?

Have the ducks on the pond had little ducklings?

It's so exciting to just notice all the new things.

But there's one thing that always stays the same.

And that's that beautiful golden light that you can see over in the corner where your special friend lives.

Can you see it?

Are you ready to visit again?

Off you go then over to the gate,

Go through the gate and step into that golden light.

Have a look around.

Can you find your friend?

Yes,

There they are.

I'm sure you've got some catching up to do.

Do you have something you'd like to share with them today?

And perhaps they have something to share with you.

Off you go and share.

I'll be quiet for a little moment.

I'm smiling because I can feel you smiling too and your friend.

It's so much fun to be together.

And when you're finished with your news and telling them your stories,

It's time to go on a new adventure,

A new imagination journey.

I know.

Are you ready?

Hold your special friend's hand.

And I want you to turn around and have a look.

And can you see over in the distance a beautiful butterfly?

Can you see it?

It's one of those big black and bright blue butterflies.

It's so beautiful and it's huge.

You and your special friend walk over toward the butterfly and something amazing is happening as you get closer and closer to the butterfly.

That butterfly is becoming very,

Very big.

Bigger than you and bigger than your special friend.

They're so beautiful.

And then the butterfly hops down in front of you so that you can jump on her back.

Wow she's wanting to take you for a ride!

So hop on carefully onto the middle of her back and your special friend's hopping on with you and then tell the butterfly you're ready.

You're ready to fly and she'll take off now.

Up,

Up,

Up,

Higher and higher above your beautiful garden.

And you can see the garden getting smaller and smaller.

And she's flying over the garden and then she goes across the mountain.

And there's a beautiful valley on the other side of the mountain.

It's really green and there's a lovely river flowing through the valley.

Can you see the river?

And the butterfly starts to fly down toward the river.

And you can see the other side of the mountain there as you're flying down past it.

And then all of a sudden at the bottom of the mountain you can see a beautiful cave.

And there's something shining inside the cave.

It's very small and it seems to be golden in colour.

So the butterfly lands there and you hop off with your special friend.

Are you ready to go into the cave and see what it is?

Yeah,

I bet.

In you go.

Very safe in the cave.

You can see everything because it's very bright in there.

And as you walk over closer to that small shining golden object you start to feel quite excited.

And your special friend is saying look,

Look,

It's an egg.

And you can see a beautiful golden egg.

But it's bigger than the eggs that you might eat for breakfast.

Much,

Much bigger.

And then all of a sudden you hear a cracking sound and the egg starts to crack open.

And first of all you see a tiny,

Tiny,

Tiny little foot come out with some toes.

And it's a golden foot but it doesn't look like a bird.

It doesn't look like a chicken or a duck.

And then another foot comes out.

And then a leg and another leg.

And then a long spiky tail.

And you think it might be a lizard.

But then the rest of the body comes out and the head.

And you can see that it's a beautiful little baby dragon.

And it's golden.

And it has a great big smile on its face.

And it's looking straight at you.

And that little dragon is there just for you.

Wow.

You put your hand down close toward the dragon to see if he wants to step on your hand.

And he looks up at you and he knows that you're kind and you're loving.

And so he trusts you.

And he jumps up onto your hand.

And you bring it up close so you can have a good look at him.

Your special friend is so excited to see this golden dragon.

And as you have a close look you see that the dragon has gorgeous little tiny wings on his back that are folded in because he's just come out of his egg.

And then he does a little shake and the wings start to unfurl.

And as they dry out you can see that they're beautiful golden dragon wings.

Oh my goodness.

It's the most beautiful thing that you have ever seen.

And he's there just for you.

I wonder,

Can you hear the dragon talking to you?

Because he's magic and he's there for you.

I bet you can hear him.

You can?

Oh that's wonderful.

I knew you could.

Perhaps you could ask the dragon what his name is.

Or is it a girl?

You ask your dragon what their name is and listen.

Wow did you hear a name?

That's so good.

And the dragon wants to go with you,

With you and your special friend.

That dragon is telling you that they are magical.

So you walk around out of the cave holding the dragon and the butterfly is still there waiting for you.

And you and your special friend sit down beside the butterfly with your dragon and you can see the whole beautiful valley before you with the river flowing through it.

And it's such a beautiful day.

Your dragon jumps off your hand and starts running around and making funny noises.

And you and your special friend are laughing watching your dragon play.

And then he wants you to follow him.

So off you go,

Follow the dragon.

And you have to run because he's running quite fast.

So run after the dragon.

He's running toward the river but he won't go in.

He just wants you to follow him and play.

Like playing chasings.

When he gets close to the river he stops and sits down.

He's only a baby so he's very tired.

And you pick him up and hold him very gently.

The beautiful butterfly flies down beside you again and says that it's time to go back to the garden.

So you put your special dragon inside your clothes so he can rest on your body,

On your chest and be safe and warm as you fly back home.

So once you've done that have you got your dragon safe inside your clothes?

That's good.

He loves being close to you.

Now climb back onto the butterfly with your special friend who's already there sitting up on the butterfly.

This time your special friend will be at the front and you'll be behind holding on.

Tell the butterfly you're ready and off you go again.

Up,

Up,

Up,

Higher and higher,

Past the cave,

Up the side of the mountain,

Down the other side and then you see the garden.

It's over in the distance but the butterfly is flying very quickly and very soon you're right above the garden and the butterfly lands very gently inside the golden light.

Wow what a great adventure!

And you can hear a puppy dog in the background barking.

I wonder where they've been?

Can you see them?

They're in the garden.

You might see them another time on your imagination journey.

So say goodbye to your special friend and remember you can come back here any time that you want to just by remembering how it feels and doing some belly breaths.

You can take your dragon with you.

How exciting!

Can you feel them still on your chest?

They're probably asleep now because babies need to sleep a lot.

So you can take your dragon with you out through the gate,

Close the gate behind you and walking through the garden and then taking some deep belly breaths.

You can feel your hands on your tummy again.

And you remember where you are when you first started your imagination journey.

You know you have your special dragon with you to keep you company.

And you can play with the dragon in your imagination and talk to them and have so much fun.

And you can also visit your special friend whenever you want to just by taking some belly breaths and doing your imagination journey again.

Remembering the feeling of being with your special friend in the golden light.

They're always there inside you.

It's so lovely knowing that you can visit them whenever you want to.

And now you're ready to go to sleep or to open your eyes and get on with your day.

I've had so much fun on our imagination journey together and I'm looking forward to the next time we get together and have another different imagination journey.
