Where are you carrying tension?
Is your jaw tight?
Are your shoulders up?
Is your chest compressed?
Wherever you find tension,
Just acknowledge it.
You're not failing by having stress.
You're human,
And you're about to learn how to release it.
Now,
Place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.
This next breath is different from the thousands you take every day without thinking.
This breath,
You're choosing.
You're bringing awareness to it.
Breathe in slowly through your nose and feel your belly expand under your hand.
And exhale gently through your mouth.
Feel your belly soften,
Releasing anything you don't need right now.
