I feel comfortable meditating,
But my legs always become numb.
Does this go away after all?
Do you not feel numb in your legs?
For me,
I experienced a lot of numbness in the beginning.
And not just numbness,
But actual pain,
Almost as a knife slicing through my legs.
Even these days,
If I actually forgo meditation for a while because of other busy things,
Then I start meditating again for days at a time,
Then I still experience certain pain that goes away soon.
But if you do this as a part of your everyday life,
Then you probably should not experience any pain.
So for your body to completely adjust the meditation posture,
It really takes about five straight days of meditation.
But it often takes an hour or so.
It's a kind of a bout of severe pain before you get used to it.
But if you're only meditating 30-40 minutes a day,
Then this bout of pain is going to last for a while.
It's almost like physical therapy.
Even although you might feel pain,
You have to do it and persist with it in order to fully heal yourself.
