Notice how it feels today to come into meditation just honoring whatever mood whatever level of focus is present today not trying to change it just noticing how connected you feel today start to imagine you're walking on a beach the ocean waves crashing allow this to be visceral maybe you feel the wind tickling your skin cooling your scalp maybe you feel the Sun on your face feel that warmth of that light feel the sand beneath your bare feet feel the texture is it smooth and gritty is it dry or wet is it warm or cool listen for any animals or creatures present hear the waves crashing allow your breath to mirror this in and out allow your feet to walk through the waves feeling the cool water touch your ankles and wash away notice what it does to your body to be in nature to be near water to be in solitude feel that subtle shift imagine every wave cleansing your feet pulling away what doesn't keep you grounded replacing it with peace rootedness trust start to look for a place where you can sit down maybe on the beach maybe you see some piece of furniture or a blanket allow yourself to find some sort of posture for meditation maybe you see yourself in lotus pose maybe you lie down in the sand maybe you continue standing notice the posture that you choose start to imagine that higher self that future self that voice that calls to you in your heart step out of this version of you and continue walking turn around and notice how it feels to observe your present self take in the energy of your present self be this unbiased loving observer noticing not judging noticing what's here notice how it feels to offer yourself this attention this time and space with no expectation notice this state of witnessing does this feel different than your everyday experience of your emotions how does it feel to step outside of yourself to simply observe bring your hand to the center of your chest your left hand if you can continue breathing into this heart space know that your heart will only offer you the wisdom you are ready for this is already an intention within you your intuition is wise it knows the pace at which you are ready all you need to do is come back to your breath and notice allow yourself to ease into that intention and let's take a moment to appreciate the complexity of all that the heart carries and can access our hearts don't experience time the same way we think about it our hearts can feel what's heavy and unresolved our hearts can feel the emotions our physical body carries from our experiences and our ancestors our hearts can feel the mood of someone when we walk into the room the heart's energy extends out in front of us a whole arm's length our heart can feel the events from up to two years past and future just take a moment to honor that two-year span in your life everything that's happened and everything yet to come our hearts can hold grief and love two of the most powerful human experiences our hearts point us toward and away from the things that make us feel safe make us feel loved our hearts work with our life force in our bellies connecting us physically to the things and the people that we love our hearts can feel into our soul level truth our hearts connect the physical and the spiritual worlds feel the power of this center it is not loud it is a quiet calm power that is always here like the wind or the ocean feel that connection rippling just beneath the surface of your conscious mind maybe it doesn't sound like your thoughts maybe it doesn't speak in language breathe into that layer that frequency consider a question or a theme you'd like to explore today it could be anything related to your life your healing your desires it could also be more general select the theme you want to explore today and bring yourself back to that beach see yourself there be that observer you can see yourself from all angles the sides of you the front of you the back of you everything here is here to communicate your heart energy allow yourself to be surprised to see something you don't expect maybe you see auras or visuals or colors maybe you feel densities maybe one side of you feels heavier than the other maybe there's a lot of energy pulled up in some part of your body maybe you feel yourself being pulled to different locations and scenes as you explore notice what appears and what presents itself and then imagine you're peeling back a layer to see what's behind it and peeling back a layer again and again trust your intuition to offer you ways to play with the scene and start to ask what does my heart want me to know maybe you start to write maybe you ask your own questions here I'll spend a few minutes being quiet to offer you some space to explore you can ask your own questions or free right during this time you can continue exploring and writing or you can listen to these following questions listen for that knowing or the words that start to come in maybe you also feel an emotion as I share these questions the first one what does courage feel like in my heart what does courage feel like the next question what does my heart want me to have the courage to admit is there something my heart is ready to admit ask your heart if there's something you're sitting with that you don't have the words yet maybe you feel other pieces of what's there but you can't communicate it yet scan for sensations emotions themes that are related or connected notice where you are today offer yourself grace and presence you do not need to know everything now maybe you affirm and remind yourself everything is unfolding exactly as it is meant to there is nothing more you need to do
