This is one of my favourite meditations—to keep my mind from wandering, and I can always come back to the tactile to find my spot. In Fingers and Toes meditation, it is both tactile and meditative, and one can do this type of meditation for hours on end. In this meditation, one focuses on one's fingers and toes first, in terms of applied pressure, then by sending energy only to one's digits, instead of the tactile. If you have trouble concentrating, this is a nice way to distract your mind while falling asleep, or to spend time doing something that you're not crazy about doing, like sitting in a plane for hours
