Hi,
My name is Josh Schmidt and this is a three-minute meditation for finding calm.
Before we begin,
I ask that you find a comfortable space where you can be uninterrupted for the next few minutes in relative quiet.
And then go ahead and take a gentle breath and when you're comfortable begin to close your eyes.
I wonder if you could take a moment to imagine yourself being in a space that brings you a sense of calm,
Peace,
And focus.
And as you allow your unconscious mind to naturally conjure an image of what that might feel like,
Consider what you might be seeing and what you might be hearing and how this makes you feel.
And as you gently breathe in and out,
You might find a sense of softening and release within the body.
And perhaps you're already feeling more calm and peaceful.
If not,
Notice that your unconscious mind can reveal how you might do this.
Now I wonder,
Can you find a way to incorporate this feeling of calm into your day?
And after you've done that,
Know that it really can be this easy to create a little more peace and calm in your life.
So I invite you now to take a breath for a moment and begin to move your attention back into the room,
Listening to the sounds around you as you begin to blink your eyes open.
