Welcome to this guided meditation session.
Please find a comfortable place to sit,
With your back straight.
If you're sitting on a chair,
Make sure that your feet are firmly planted on the ground.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out through your nose.
As you focus on your breath,
Imagine yourself standing in front of a large door.
This door represents the difficulties and struggles you have faced in your life.
You know that there is pain and suffering,
But you also know that there is wisdom to be gained from facing it.
Now take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Reach out and open the door.
As you step through,
You find yourself in a dark and gloomy room,
But as you look around,
You start to notice small flickers of light in the distance.
These are the lessons and insights that you can gain from your suffering.
As you walk towards the light,
You begin to feel a sense of peace and understanding.
You start to see that the pain you have faced has made you stronger and more resilient.
You realize that you have the ability to learn and grow from your suffering.
You start to see that suffering is not something to be feared but something to be embraced and understood.
It is a natural part of the human experience and it can teach you valuable lessons about yourself and the world.
As you keep walking towards the light,
You come across different scenes of your past experiences,
The moments of rejection,
Failure,
Loss and pain that you have gone through.
You start to remember all the times when you have felt helpless,
Hopeless and alone,
But as you observe those moments,
You see that you have come a long way from there.
You see the progress you have made,
The strength you have gained and the wisdom you have acquired.
You realize that every time you have faced a difficult situation,
You have come out stronger and more capable than before.
You see that the suffering you have experienced has helped you to understand yourself better,
To build character and to develop a sense of purpose.
As you keep walking,
The light becomes brighter and brighter until you reach the end of the room.
You find yourself standing in front of a large window with the sun shining bright outside.
You take one last look back at the room of suffering and you feel grateful for the lessons it has taught you.
You are grateful for the person you have become because of it.
You step through the window into the light,
Feeling a sense of acceptance and understanding towards the suffering you have faced and the wisdom it has given you.
Now take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Find yourself that suffering is not the end,
But a means to an end.
It is a tool for growth and self-improvement and you are determined to use it to become the best version of yourself.
Find yourself that no matter what life throws at you,
You have the strength,
The wisdom and the ability to handle it.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out and when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes feeling refreshed and energized.
