Welcome to this grounding meditation.
This meditation journey is best listened to outdoors,
With your bare feet placed on the earth.
So take a moment to find a comfortable and quiet spot,
And lie down on your back.
Rest your body so that your spine is aligned.
Place your arms on the ground alongside your body,
With your palms facing down towards the ground.
Bend your knees and place both feet on the ground,
About hip distance apart,
And let your knees knock in and touch.
Relax your jaw,
Soften your forehead,
Allow your shoulders to become heavy,
And if it feels good for you,
Close your eyes.
Take a full deep breath in,
And feel your belly rise,
And exhale fully,
And let your belly fall.
Inhale,
And notice the expansion.
Exhale,
And let it all go.
Repeat this several times,
Just feeling the rise and fall of your belly.
As you feel your whole body begin to soften,
You notice the sensations of ease and calm wash over you.
You fall into a deeper state of relaxation.
Place your awareness on all the areas of your body that are touching the ground beneath you right now,
And let those parts become heavier and heavier.
Relax the back of your head,
Shoulders,
Back and spine,
Arms,
Back of the hands,
Tailbone,
Gluteus,
Calf muscles,
And the soles of your feet.
Allow the ground to fully hold and support you,
As you take a deep,
Nourishing breath in,
And a full,
Slow breath out.
Begin to visualize a beautiful meadow appearing all around you,
And endless sea of emerald green that is alive with butterflies that dance amongst the daisies.
On a quiet,
Balmy summer's eve,
Underneath a paisley blue sky,
As you inhale deeply,
Breathe in the sweet scent of the colorful wildflowers,
And exhale fully,
As you look down and you notice that you are barefoot and wriggling your toes in the blanket of grass,
And start to connect with the earth beneath you,
Plugging into the ground,
Charging yourself up.
Feel an electrical current flowing through your whole body,
Like a wave that is pulsing up from the tips of your toes,
Following up your legs,
Thighs,
Hips,
And stomach.
Follow up and over your chest and back,
Down your arms to your fingers,
Rolling over your face,
And all the way to the crown of your head.
With each deep breath in you take,
This current becomes stronger and stronger,
Swirling and flowing through every inch of your body,
Through all the muscles and tendons,
Through all your bones and organs,
Through tissues and nerves.
As you begin to feel a deep cellular renewal washing through you,
You slowly and consciously start to walk through the grassy meadow,
Feeling the warm sun on your skin,
The kiss of the gentle breeze,
A solid earth beneath your feet,
And in the distance you notice a beautiful patch of woodland.
As you start to approach it,
You see a small winding path that is lined with ancient oak trees,
And covered in a carpet of leaves,
You see squirrels and birds dance from one branch to another,
Streams of golden sunlight illuminate your way,
You glance down at your bare feet and dig your toes into the dirt,
And feel the crunch of leaves under the soles of your feet,
Grounding down,
Deeper and deeper down,
Like the tangled roots of the old trees,
And see a small flowing stream with water that glimmers in the sunlight,
As dragonflies dart between the reeds and the grasses,
You look down and notice all the smooth pebbles,
And feel their comforting warmth as they massage the soles of your feet,
As you slowly just take a few more steps until your toes dip into the refreshing water,
And the small stream flows past your ankles,
You press your toes down into the small smooth pebbles,
And connect with the earth once again,
Inhaling the energy deep into your body,
Deep into your whole body,
Allow this soothing energy to wash over your entire body,
And with each deep breath you take in,
You become stronger and stronger,
Even more intense,
As you take the deepest breath in you've taken all week,
And now the deepest breath out through your mouth,
And feel the sense of grounding awareness flowing through all the layers of your being,
You are plugged in,
You are charged up,
Your batteries are full,
Take a deep breath in,
And allow a natural full exhale to release,
As you let go of old thoughts,
Old emotions,
And old things,
Release anything you don't need anymore,
Let it go,
Feel the cold water gently washing it all away,
And bringing in bright,
Beautiful new energy,
You feel so much lighter,
And brighter,
And completely energised,
Take a deep inhale,
And draw the energy up,
And fully exhale,
Releasing it,
Letting it all go,
Breathing in full,
And as you exhale,
Let out a sigh,
Or a sound that feels good,
As you contemplate that your rhythms are a reflection of the world around you,
You are connected with the source of life,
And that brings a gentle smile to your face,
Then take a moment to appreciate the beautiful experience you are having,
Giving thanks to Mother Earth,
And Father Sky,
And all the abundance of nature around you,
Feeling so grateful for you,
And your body,
Your breath,
And all the blessings of your life,
You are full,
Inhale deeply,
Exhale fully,
As you keep your eyes closed,
You bring yourself back into the space you're in,
The here and now,
Noticing the movement,
And the temperature of the air around you,
Observing all the areas of your body that the ground is touching,
Feeling your heart beat,
As you wiggle your toes,
Reach your hands above your head,
And take a nice big stretch,
Like you've just woken up in the morning,
And feel free to yawn and sigh,
And move in the way that feels good for you,
Knowing that you have the Earth's energy to carry with you throughout your day,
Blinking your eyes open,
And giving them a moment to adjust to the light.
Thank you so much for listening,
Have an amazing day.
