Seated mediation (in a chair) This is a foundation grounding meditation to help you connect to your energy, body, and Mother Earth. Connecting you to your energetic grounding cord for your root chakra to the center of the planet. It's the first guided meditation in a sequential series of 3 practices to help clear your chakras. 1 - Grounding 2 -Grounding and connecting to your soul star (8th) chakra. 3 - Grounding and clearing all your chakras.

And now that you're comfortably seated,

Close your eyes and allow them to soften from within.

Bring your attention to the center of your head,

Around your pineal gland,

Which is the seat of awareness,

Clarity and intuition.

Relax your jaw by slightly parting your teeth and lips,

And if you feel inspired,

You can even allow yourself to crack a slight inner smile towards yourself.

Feel free to breathe normally,

Through your mouth or nose,

Whichever you prefer.

And while keeping your attention in the center of your head,

Bring part of your awareness down to your root at the base of your spine.

If you're comfortable,

You can tighten and release your genital area to bring physical sensation and awareness to your root or perineum,

Also known as your root chakra.

From your root,

Imagine that you have an invisible energetic grounding cord about hip-width apart,

Extending down to the center of the earth.

You can visualize it any way you want,

Perhaps as the roots of a tree trunk,

A flexible hollow cord,

Or even a waterfall.

See your grounding cord energetically seal that your root chakra as you allow your grounding cord to travel all the way down to the center of Mother Earth and anchor into her center core.

Take your time and gently breathe as you allow it to go down deeper,

Wider,

And further than you might imagine.

Feel and intuit your deep energetic connection to the root core of yourself and the core of Mother Earth,

Aligned,

Connected,

Rooted,

Grounded.

Energy has no time,

Space,

Or effort,

So you can simply allow your grounding cord to connect to Mother Earth with ease and grace.

Release any need for your grounding cord connection or you to be perfect.

Keep your imagination playful and let your creation and creativity be fun.

Keep your attention within the center of your head as you allow yourself to feel connected and at home within your energetic and physical root with and upon Mother Earth.

Imagine that your grounding cord is in present time,

Connected to your root chakra,

And then allow all the energy from your root to magnetically release down your hollow grounding cord to the center of Mother Earth.

She will lovingly accept and transmute anything that you offer to her energetically down your grounding cord.

Allow yourself to intend to release what no longer serves you,

Perhaps the world around you or within,

Outdated patterns,

Your own security issues,

Ancestral patterns,

Fight,

Flight,

Freeze,

Or fawn tendencies,

The past or the future,

Or any energy that is not yours or no longer serves you in the present moment.

Just let it go and simply release it down your grounding cord.

Keep your attention within the center of your head.

Take a few comfortable breaths.

Feel the sensations of your chest expanding in and out.

With each exhale,

Allow the energy to release down your grounding cord in the present moment and release down to Mother Earth.

Feel yourself rooted,

Anchored,

And grounded in present time.

Allow your attention to remain in the center of your head,

Breathing and connecting with your body and the body of our beloved Mother Earth.

For the time being,

Feel free to slowly tilt your head down,

Lean your chest forward,

And perhaps rest your hands or your elbows on your legs.

Take a few relaxed inhales and exhales.

Slowly rise back up,

Sitting straight in your chair.

We're going to continue creating and using grounding cords as we go,

As well as learning to activate more tools.

For the moment,

You can remain seated,

Grounding cord anchored and your eyes open.

You can also stop,

Get up,

And walk around.

Some of you may feel tired from the releasing of stored up energy in your root chakra and your energy body.

If that is the case,

Feel free to close your eyes,

Meditate,

Or lay down and take a nap,

Whatever you feel like.

Also,

Drinking water and having a tea are always a good idea when you're clearing your energy.
