Wonderful,
So this meditation is going to be a meditation that will help,
I think,
Dissolve sort of like a limitation of one's own place,
One's own body in time and space.
And so I'd love for you to just gently close your eyes and enter into the terrain of your own inner landscape.
You've known this so long and so well.
And just take a nice deep breath in.
You've probably been running around during the day and just settle in.
Take another breath in.
And settle in.
And then gently,
With your mind,
I'd like you to bring your awareness to the center of your forehead and just observe a beautiful golden light at the center of your forehead.
And with your awareness,
Just move that light across your forehead and relax your forehead and your eyes.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your tongue.
And relax your teeth with the warmth of that light,
Especially your jaw.
With your awareness,
Move your awareness down your neck.
Relax with that warmth of light,
Your shoulders down into your arms.
And imagine your fingers are just floating in a stream of water.
Relax your fingers.
With your awareness,
Come back up to your chest and visualize your beautiful heart and lungs,
Blood pumping through your heart.
Calm down your lungs with that light.
Just let them melt a little.
Let your heart calm down so that you're not looking so hard.
With your awareness,
Let your belly drop a little and your hip bones,
Digestive tract,
Everything relax.
And with your awareness,
Move down your legs with that warm heat all the way down to your feet.
Bringing your awareness very slowly back up your legs to the base of your spine.
And with your mind,
Gently move up your back,
Your spine vertebra by vertebra,
Relaxing your back one vertebra at a time.
Relaxing your neck.
And with that light,
Move it across the crown of your head back to your forehead.
You are this golden light.
Now move that light back into your own body.
And with your awareness,
I want you to empower that light so it becomes even more numerous.
And what seems like the shape of your organs,
Your heart,
Your lungs,
Your digestive tract,
All of it.
I want you just to dissolve the quality of it.
In actuality,
Your own body are just fluid cells.
And with this light,
The light will replace any image or memory you have of body or organ or ligament or bone or blood with a numinous light.
From one end of you to another,
Your whole body is filled with light.
The energy of light,
The warmth of light.
So much so that the light expands past your edges,
Your skin out into the atmosphere.
With your awareness,
I want you to now imagine that to the right of you and to the left of you,
This light expands with energy,
Dissolving the furniture into light in the front of you and the back of you,
As well as above and below so that not only is your inner body filled with light,
But the cellular quality of your dermis dissolves into that light as well.
And you are experiencing light in front of you on all sides,
In the back of you,
Below you and above you,
As though you are floating in light.
With your awareness,
Move this light out further and enable the room in all directions to dissolve into light,
The house you're in,
The floor you're in,
Everything to dissolve into light,
Moving your awareness out into the neighborhood,
You as light,
Filling in all directions this quality of awareness,
This quality of consciousness of light so that you can't remain on the ground,
You are consciousness pushing its way through the earth in all directions,
Past all buildings,
Past all what seems like solid matter,
And then up out into the atmosphere.
Your light in all directions.
Floating,
Expanding,
No history,
No memory,
Present numinous awareness as light.
Your awareness expands further.
You're out of the earth's atmosphere into our solar system,
Into our galaxy and beyond as a numinous supernova of light.
There's no beginning of you or end of you,
There's just expanded awareness of numinosity.
Consciousness in all directions.
Expanded presence,
Expanded presence.
This is the most precious place to rest your awareness.
There's no end to heaven,
It is but an experience of present expanded awareness.
And now with your awareness,
Let's begin to gently move back from this quality of expansion into our solar system,
Into our atmosphere,
Into the world below us.
Come and gently move back into the memory of solid formation below you.
Gently move back into your seeing your house in your neighborhood.
Gently move back into your awareness of your house and the walls around you and the room you're sitting in.
Gently move back into your own body with your heart beating,
The calmness of your breath,
This beautiful quiet present space.
This meditation is an invitation anytime during the day to expand.
You can do it for a minute or 30 minutes or as you walk through the day,
Go there.
It is a precious place to be present in.
When you feel ready,
Just take a slightly deeper breath.
Gently wiggle your toes and fingers a little bit.
Open your eyes.
And this will be the conclusion of this meditation for the day.
