Great.
So today we're going to do one of the meditations that enables you to sort of dissolve a quality in your own body of your body's place in the world.
And so if you don't mind,
Give yourself a really comfortable position and close your eyes and come right inside into the inner terrain of your body,
This beautiful inner landscape that you are so familiar with.
Take a nice breath in,
You're going to breathe in.
Just sigh a little,
Letting yourself melt more into your chair.
Take a second breath in.
You're going to sigh a little more,
Sinking further.
And with your awareness,
I'd like for you to bring your awareness to the center of your forehead and you'll find there a beautiful golden light,
Warm like the sun.
And just move it across your forehead,
Relaxing your forehead,
The wrinkles or lines just dissolving and disappearing.
With your awareness,
Bring your mind down into your eyes and your eye socket,
Eyeballs with a warm light,
Letting your eyes just relax and your eyelashes grow apart just a little more.
Relax your eyes.
With your awareness,
With this warm golden light,
Move it into your jaw.
Your jaw unhinges a little.
Your tongue moves back into your mouth,
Softens.
Within the space between your teeth,
Relax.
Relax your mouth.
Relax your tongue.
With your awareness,
Bring that warm beautiful light down your throat to the chakra of your throat,
To speech.
Nothing to say now.
Relax your throat.
Your energy,
You'll bring that awareness down to your shoulders,
Your neck and shoulders.
And there you will relax your shoulders,
Relax your arms.
With your awareness,
Move that,
Your attention down to your lower arm and your wrists.
And watch as your hands become limp as though they're in a stream of water,
Just relaxed and being taken by the stream,
No control of anything.
Relax your hands.
With your awareness then,
Just gently move your awareness back up your arms into your chest again.
Right now,
With your awareness,
Move that light down into your belly.
Let your belly muscles relax,
Your belly stick out a little bit more.
And move that awareness down into your digestive tract,
Into your hips,
So that you're just sitting a little wider on your chair,
On your seat,
And relax that whole area.
With your mind,
Move your awareness into your legs,
Into your knees.
Let your kneecap fall apart a little,
Relax.
And the muscles,
The large muscles in your legs,
It takes you all the way down your shin.
Relax all those veins,
Muscles,
Ligaments in your shin,
In your ankles.
Once again,
Pictures though your feet were in a stream of water,
Letting them go completely limp.
No control on your ankles or feet,
Just relaxed.
With your awareness,
Move very slowly with your mind,
With that beautiful warm light up the back of your legs,
Towards your base of your spine,
The base chakra,
The lower vertebrae.
And with your awareness,
Move that golden radiant light up your spine,
Vertebrae by vertebrae,
Allowing the space in between the spine and all of the tentacles that connect your spinal fluid to the rest of your body to just relax,
Allowing energy to flow more easily through,
Melting any blocks all the way up to the base of your neck,
Allowing an openness to come the base of your neck,
Moving that light up your neck to around your skull as though you're wearing a crown of light around the skull,
And move that light back to the center of your forehead.
This warm,
Radiant light has enlivened you.
You are a glowing luminosity of light.
Now with your mind,
Take a look at your inner body again.
You've moved it now from sort of a solid understanding of heart,
Lungs,
Legs into a more numinous experience.
Move your awareness back down your body,
Back down your stomach,
Down your left leg.
Move your awareness into your left big toe.
I know this sounds odd,
But follow this experiment with your awareness.
I want you to picture that your toe is a plug of luminosity that lights up like inner fire.
As it moves up through your body,
Through your legs,
Into your other leg,
Into your belly,
Into your stomach,
It lights up like the light of fire and dissolves an awareness of what you think your inner body is,
What that temple looks like.
In fact,
It dissolves your memory and history of your inner world in all ways,
And you are instead filled from one end of you to the next with a numinous white,
Beautiful light like the sun that fills you over,
Takes you over.
In this experience,
I want to inspire you to be of whiteness with no history or memory.
We're going to sit in whiteness together.
The edges of your body,
Your dermis,
Your skin will be livened with light.
There's no end of you and beginning of the light exiting you.
You are fullness of numinous white light.
Let it pour from you.
Your identity is only whiteness.
Focus only there.
Don't let your mind be anything else.
Be firm in the white,
Endless numinosity that is your body and beyond.
Focus only there.
Come back to whiteness.
Feel the warmth and brilliance of whiteness.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Resolve all identity.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
See that there's no end to this fire of whiteness that has dissolved you into numinosity,
No end to the edge of your body and the rest of reality.
You are numinous white light.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Be this numinosity.
Come back.
The light of the sun,
That bright.
Focus only there.
Focus only there.
Very gently with your awareness.
You're going to begin to calm the radiance of this light so it's no longer seeping out of your skin to the atmosphere around you,
So cooling down,
It's quieting down.
This numinosity is yours to sit in,
To bathe in,
To luxuriate in.
It's disappearing to melt into where identity dissolves to the whiteness of present consciousness.
When you feel you've stepped back into a quality within your own internal terrain,
Just begin to take a slightly deeper breath.
Begin to move your fingers and your toes.
Just begin to come out of this meditation,
This meditation,
The fire of consciousness,
The fire of illumined self.
You come into the present moment.
I want to remind you to come back to this meditation.
You can do this honestly during your day when you find you're too stuck in your head waiting in the line somewhere.
