If you prefer to lie down,
That's also fine.
This is just a nice simple meditation to ground and relax and connect with source energy.
So close your eyes and make any necessary adjustments to let go of tension,
To relax.
Just notice if you're gripping.
Find an easy comfortable seat.
And as you make those last final adjustments,
Let your awareness settle inside as your body relaxes into its place.
Let your mind's eye settle and drop into your heart center.
Without any judgment,
Just notice how it feels.
Notice the quality of feeling in the heart center.
Again,
No good or bad here,
No judgment.
And let your awareness move around the body,
Just noticing how the body feels.
Taking a nice deep breath into your torso.
And as you release that breath,
See if that made a difference in how the body feels.
Again,
Taking a nice deep inhale.
And this time releasing any tension you may have found on the exhale.
Just release a few moments,
Cultivating much desired,
Much deserved stillness.
Nice deep breath in.
And continue releasing any resistance,
Tension on the exhale.
Keep breathing this way,
Releasing tension on the exhales.
Imagine a beautiful bright light cascading down over your head,
Shoulders,
This beautiful,
Calming light,
Healing light,
Filling up the space around you.
Inhaling and exhaling these full deep breaths,
Allowing this beautiful healing light to envelop you.
And now imagine this light coming down through the crown of your head,
Bringing with it peace and ease,
Comfort and relaxation,
Nourishing and relaxing every inch of your being as it comes into your body.
Watch it moving through the head,
Releasing tension down the neck,
Filling up the filling up the shoulder girdle and forming a beautiful ball of light in your heart center.
And feel that light as it continues to move through the shoulders,
Biceps,
Forearms,
Hands,
Coming back to the center of the chest.
See this beautiful ball of light shining in all directions,
Shining down through the torso,
Feeling the light moving through the hips,
Releasing tension in the thighs,
Moving down the shins and calves and into the feet.
The light at the center of the heart shining brightly in all directions connects you with the light that is all around you.
Now imagine this beautiful light shining down through your torso,
Down through the legs and follow this light all the way through the soles of your feet and down through the earth,
Down,
Down,
Down through the layers of the earth,
All the way down to the center of the earth where that light coming from you connects with the light of all that is at the center of the earth.
Tapping into a deep,
Grounding,
Comforting earth energy.
And draw that grounded earth energy back up through the layers of the earth,
Up through the soles of the feet,
In through your being,
Back to the heart center.
Imagine following that ball of light now floating up through the crown of your head,
Up into the atmosphere,
Through time and space,
Floating,
Floating,
Floating,
Drifting up effortlessly,
Up,
Up,
Up until all you see is light.
Emerging the ball of light in your mind's eye with the light of all that is pure source energy.
Relaxing the mind here,
Releasing everything you think you need to worry about,
Hold on to,
Just letting everything go,
Taking a nice deep breath into this connection,
This pure source energy,
This unconditional love,
Limitless abundance here where every need is met,
Every desire granted,
Every problem healed.
And draw all that healing,
All that unconditional love,
Forgiveness,
Abundance,
Opportunity,
Drawing all that energy into your ball of light and floating back down gently and easily,
Floating softly back down through the crown of your head,
Nourishing,
Relaxing as it comes back down,
Just resting in the heart center,
Feeling this nourishment radiating through your body.
Take your awareness back to that heart center and see how you feel,
Taking a nice deep breath,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Once again,
Just releasing anything that doesn't need to be there,
Resting here in this present moment.
Two more breaths like that,
Inhaling,
Feeling that light vibration emanating through the body as you exhale.
