This is a guided meditation to strengthen romantic relationships during challenging times like after the birth of a baby.

Thank you for joining me and sharing this space.

This guided meditation will help strengthen your romantic relationship during challenging times like after bringing a baby home.

In this meditation,

We will be connecting with your partner on an energetic level.

I will guide you through the entire meditation.

If any of my guidance doesn't make sense,

Know that your inner being understands the energy behind my words and rests into that knowingness.

When you are ready,

We are going to get into a comfortable position.

As you settle into your space,

Focus on your breath.

Returning to your breath helps to move away thoughts and allow you to connect to your inner being.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Feel the calming sensation as your breath is moving in through your nose and down into your body becoming a part of you.

Breathe.

When your thoughts move to something other than my words,

Gently and lovingly redirect them to the soothing music that accompanies my voice.

Breathe.

In your mind,

I'd like you to visualize yourself sitting in a beautiful room filled with the most gorgeous light,

A golden shimmering light.

Your body feels so light and warm sitting in this light-filled space.

When you breathe,

You breathe in the infinite love that fills this brightly filled space.

There's so much love all around and inside you that it spills out,

Sometimes in tears.

What a beautiful feeling it is to be wrapped with all this love.

Breathe in the love.

Now,

I'd like for you to envision a chair a few feet in front of you.

You feel joy just seeing this chair.

Breathe in the good feelings.

Breathe once again.

Invite your partner into this space,

Onto that chair.

When your partner appears,

They have a different energy about them.

They are happy,

Peaceful,

Joyful and at ease.

They are so delighted to see you.

You feel the same when you look into their eyes.

You cannot help but spill the love you have into them and they do the same to you.

Any frustrations or anger that you previously held have melted away from this overwhelming love you have inside yourself and all around you.

Breathe.

When you are connected to the wholeness of who you are,

Which is this overwhelming sense of love,

Any negative feelings melt away.

Breathe.

You see the person sitting across from you as trying the very best they can with the tools that they have in this moment.

Breathe in the shimmering golden love all around you.

Let the love envelope you from the inside out.

Breathe.

You have such empathy for the person sitting across from you.

You lovingly see their struggles and challenges.

You send them your love extending from your heart center.

Breathe.

When you point out things you want them to change or do differently,

This wanting is like a mirror showing you things you dislike about yourself.

Use these opportunities to send this golden shimmering light into the parts of you that become angry and upset.

Let love heal.

You are trying your very best.

You are such a wonderful parent.

Your baby is so in love with you just as you are.

You don't have to change a thing.

You are the perfect parent for your baby.

This loving space that we just cultivated reminds us that love heals.

When we focus on love,

We heal and return to the wholeness of who we are.

When we show up as our true self,

We emanate love and heal those around us.

We wish for our partners everything we want for ourselves.

Extend this practice beyond today by bringing this into a morning practice of expressing appreciation and sending love to your partner.

We conclude this practice with cleaning away any remaining frustrations and past pains.

Breathe in the love and light from the room to once again return into the wholeness of who you are.

Now a ball of light the size of a beach ball descends down from somewhere above.

This ball of light is just as magnificent as the loving energy in the room.

It has a glow that you cannot help but want to sink deeper into.

This ball of light starts coming towards you gently like a kind friend approaching to cheerfully greet you.

This ball of magnificent loving light will now help clear away past pains.

Take a moment to whisper into it any remaining past pains and frustrations that you are still holding onto about your partner.

Hearing it with this ball of light already feels so freeing and healing.

This powerful ball of light will now circle around you and your partner rotating in a figure eight circling them returning between you and circling you to return back in front of you both.

Maintaining a constant speed while removing these past pains.

The ball of light continues to circle you and your partner in the shape of a name.

Their frustrations and pain are quickly collected into this magnificent light and quickly transforms these past pains into love and shines that back out to both of you.

The ball returns in front of you and your partner.

You take a moment to thank this ball of loving light.

In your appreciation you spill over with love and appreciation for this healing experience.

The ball of light now floats up out of the space but the energy that it radiated remains.

Breathe in this powerful force.

Breathe out this strength.

Take a moment to express appreciation for this experience that brought you into the fullness of who you are.

When you are ready we are going to leave this space.

Feel into the seat you are sitting.

Feel the support it provides.

Feel the comfort it gives.

Breathe.

Feel the air in the room enter into your lungs.

Start to wiggle your toes and fingers to connect you into this present moment.

When you are ready open your eyes.

When any future feelings of frustration arise towards your partner remember it is a mirror showing you that you have temporarily disconnected from the whole of who you are.

The greatest gift you can give another is loving yourself fully and completely as that love emanates to everyone around you.

Return to this healing meditation to help clear any future negative thoughts and feelings and return back to the love that is your core.
