So just wherever you are,
Coming into stillness.
And this could be sitting,
This could be standing.
And just take three deep breaths in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Pulling the air deep into your lungs.
Releasing any tension as you exhale.
Breathing in.
And out.
And now just start to become aware of the physicality of your body.
Noticing where you are located.
And how your body is feeling.
You are sitting down,
Notice the connection between your thighs and your sit bones from the chair.
The sense of pressure there,
Your feet are on the floor,
Feeling the pressure coming down as they connect on the surface beneath you.
And just see if you can release into that sense of support a little more.
Now I want you to just listen.
See if you can name three things that you can hear.
People talking.
Music,
Air conditioning,
Cars.
Just listening.
And once you've listed three things you can hear,
Just look and name three things that you can see.
And now name three things that you could feel.
So it could be the air against your skin,
The clothing against your body,
The weight of your body in the chair.
And again taking three deep breaths in.
And out.
And in.
And out.
And one last time.
In and out.
And one last time.
In and out.
And then go and do your thing.
