Hello and welcome to this guided meditation on reconnecting with self-confidence.

This is a great meditation to reach for anytime we're feeling consumed by self-doubt.

We just need to remind ourselves of that confidence deep within.

Begin by finding a comfortable position for your body.

This could be seated or lying down,

But just ensure that you feel supported.

Allow yourself to sink into the support beneath you.

Take a deep breath in through the nose,

Then releasing the breath out through the mouth.

Allowing yourself to relax deeper with each and every cycle of breath.

So we invite ourselves on the journey to reconnect with the self-confidence deep within.

Remembering that confidence is not arrogance.

It does not mean we think we are better than anyone else.

It is simply trusting ourselves,

Our paths,

And our own unique abilities.

On your next inhale,

Begin to invite in the sensation of confidence and self-trust.

And as you exhale,

Release anything that is holding you back from feeling confident.

As you're here breathing,

Let's slowly begin to bring awareness to our bellies.

Visualizing,

Imagining,

And feeling a swirling golden light.

It's helping us clear away any self-doubt or insecurities.

We'll allow this swirling,

Powerful golden light to continue clearing,

Even as we bring our awareness elsewhere.

We're going to gently begin to bring to mind a time,

A time when you felt confident in who you were.

A time when you felt so completely yourself,

The unchanging self amid change.

Do not focus too intently on the actual experience.

But just bring to mind the sensation of confidence.

Visualizing this in your mind's eye,

Feeling the energy of confidence and self-assurance that accompanied it.

And know and remember that this is always present within.

Even when we feel bogged down by judgment,

Self-doubt,

Criticism,

Or comparison.

Let's allow ourselves to dive a little bit deeper into the subconscious.

Connecting with the innermost self.

I invite you to celebrate that you are a unique being with your own gifts and talents.

And your path is also uniquely yours.

It's not going to look like anyone else's.

Recognize that you have something special to offer the world.

We all do.

And give yourself permission to feel a sense of pride in who you are.

Who you are at your core,

Your innermost self.

Even if you were meant to feel shame or self-doubt in who you are.

Know that other people's opinions,

Perspectives do not define you.

That we get the ability to define our own value.

And although sometimes difficult,

We have the choice to choose ourselves.

To trust ourselves.

To be confident in who we are,

How we feel,

And what we believe.

Let's allow ourselves to begin letting go of any doubts or fears we have about ourselves.

Without getting caught in judgment or too much analysis.

Just notice what comes to mind.

Know that this is sometimes uncomfortable when we turn into our shadows.

To see what's there and holding us back.

But know that this is necessary on our path of growth.

In owning those shadows and shifting and letting go.

So you begin releasing these fears,

These doubts,

These insecurities up into the sky.

Visualizing them as clouds.

Floating away and disappearing into the distance.

And as you stay connected with your breath,

Let go of the need for perfection.

And allowing yourself to embrace your own unique journey.

Recognize that you are human.

And that all of our experiences,

Even the uncomfortable ones,

Are part of our journey.

You are here for a reason and your path is valid and important.

It's just as valid and important as any path.

Embracing any of your perceived imperfections and loving yourself exactly as you are.

So begin to visualize fully owning your own personal magic.

What would it look like if you allowed this to shine brightly for all to see?

While keeping in mind that we don't necessarily have to share our light and our vulnerability in all of the spaces and places in our lives.

But how do we cultivate a space for us to shine brightly for ourselves?

Feel a sense of strength and power emanating from within you.

Knowing that you have the ability to achieve anything you set your mind to.

Notice what this feels like.

Experiencing this sensation on all levels of imagination.

Feeling it in your body,

Your mind,

Your heart,

Your soul or spirit.

Inviting this in as though it is already truth.

Because this is who you are underneath all of the noise,

Doubt and fear.

This is who you are before the world around you told you that you aren't enough.

As you continue to breathe,

Feel yourself becoming more and more connected to your essence,

Your magic,

Your power.

Feel it radiating out into the world around you.

Now repeat these affirmations to yourself silently or out loud.

I am confident in my abilities and trust myself.

I let go of the need for perfection and embrace myself as I am.

Feeling this sensation of trust and confidence.

For a few more breaths,

Allowing this sensation to encompass you within your own being and the space around you.

Knowing that you are allowed to feel confident.

You can give yourself permission to trust yourself.

You can choose to shift self-doubt,

Fear,

Insecurities.

We can also know that these can coexist.

We can feel unsure and uncertain.

We can feel doubt and still choose to step forward in confidence and trust.

As you are ready,

Slowly begin to open your eyes,

Inviting in light.

Allow the breath to become more energizing as we reawaken.

Feeling a renewed sense of confidence and self-assurance.

And remembering that you are confident,

Worthy,

And powerful just as you are.
