This loving-kindness meditation can help us cultivate kindness, connection, and a deeper sense of our shared humanity. Through the repetition of simple phrases, we'll practice extending warmth and care to ourselves and others. The intention is not to force feelings of affection, approval, or agreement. Rather, it is to recognize that we are all interconnected and that when others experience greater safety, health, and ease, we all benefit. During this practice, you'll be guided through the phrases: May you feel joy. May you be well in mind and body. May you be safe. May you live with ease. Whether these words resonate deeply or just feel like seeds being planted, you're invited to approach the practice with curiosity and nonjudgment. Over time, loving-kindness can help us strengthen our capacity for compassion, reduce feelings of separation, and bring greater openness to our everyday lives.
