My name is Jeanne Robinson and welcome to this guided meditation for deep sound sleep.
This guided meditation is designed for you to listen to right before you go to bed.
Also get into a comfortable position where you'll be undisturbed as you gently drift off to sleep,
Sleeping deeply and soundly all through the night,
Waking up the next morning feeling rested and refreshed.
And now close your eyes and just tune into your breathing,
Your natural breath as it rises and falls as you inhale and exhale.
Feeling that natural process of the body just like sleep.
So now just allow yourself to settle down inside as you listen to this calming guided meditation and relax deeply,
Releasing your day and allowing your night to organically unfold,
Allowing your body's natural process of relaxation to happen.
Hear circadian rhythms naturally responding to the darkness,
Guiding you down through the different stages of sleep as the sun disappears below the horizon,
Sinking into the unseen.
Darkness envelops the land,
Temperatures change,
All become still.
Deep in our brains,
Our clock shifts into slowing and calming,
Letting go,
Sinking into this inner calm,
Tranquil hibernation,
Experiencing this peace and this ease as you float down into sleep,
Deep,
Restful sleep,
Like a stone that's been dropped into a pond,
Slowly sinking to the bottom,
Passing by fish,
Underwater plant life,
Sinking deeper,
Eventually finding the bottom,
Settling into its resting place.
Relax and calm,
Permeate the bottom as colors fade and the curtain closes,
Time to rest,
Body resting,
Muscles softening,
Mind calming,
And ease in letting go,
Sinking deeper into inner rest and healing,
All movement transmuted into stillness,
Motionless.
The body now allowed to regenerate,
Recuperate,
All coming into balance once again as you sink into an even deeper relaxation and sleep,
Letting go,
In the knowledge that new life will arrive tomorrow when you're rested and refreshed,
A new day,
Fresh perspectives,
After this deep slumber,
The brain given downtime to process,
Digest and reorganize,
To heal,
Learn and grow,
As the veil of sleep gently floats down as you allow yourself this long extended inner mission,
Drifting and floating,
Softening,
Opening and letting go into the deepest sleep of all,
Releasing your day completely now.
It's okay to let go and relax very deeply,
Continuing to allow nighttime to organically unfold,
Sleeping deeply and soundly all through the night,
And there may be points where you may drift up to lighter stages of sleep,
But then you will very quickly sink back down into deep,
Restful sleep,
Stillness,
Sleepy heaviness,
Time to rest very deeply.
Body resting,
Muscles continuing to soften,
Even the air around you permeates you with a sense of deep calm and peace,
Drifting off into the deepest sleep slowing down,
Sleeping deeply and soundly.
Waking up in the morning feeling rested,
And up in the morning feeling rested,
Drifting,
Floating.
