This lovely and creative visualization, will help to bolster a sense of safety and independence. The intent of this session is to relax the mind and let go of fear. As you relax, notice the breath and let go of any thoughts you may have, alowing yourself to slip into a state of undisturbed tranquility.

Transcript

The intent of this session is to relax the mind by way of a visualization,

While at the same time bolstering your sense of safety and independence.

You may wish to close your eyes,

Or you may prefer to keep them open while maintaining a soft,

Comfortable gaze.

Settle into a comfortable position.

You can be sitting,

Standing,

Or lying down.

As you're relaxing,

Notice the breath and let go of any thoughts you may have.

If you find your attention drifting,

Simply let go of the thought and bring your awareness back to the breath.

Let's take two deep breaths,

Breathing in all the way down into the abdomen.

Inhale and exhale.

And once more,

Breathe in deeply and release.

For just a moment,

Slowly scan your body with your awareness from head to toe and notice any tension.

Begin with the area around the eyes.

If you feel any tension,

Just relax the area and let it go.

Next,

Notice if there's any tension in the jaw,

Neck,

Or shoulder area.

If you notice any tension in those areas,

Simply release and relax.

Take a minute to continue scanning your body,

Releasing any tension or tightness.

And you can also keep a small part of your attention on the breath while you do this.

Continue breathing and scanning and releasing any tension,

Letting go of any thoughts and feeling your body becoming more and more relaxed.

Very good.

You're feeling relaxed and comfortable.

Continue breathing at your normal rhythm in this relaxed state and focus on my voice as we begin the visualization.

Imagine you have just been given the gift of flight,

Or rather the gift of float.

You are able to defy gravity and drift up into the sky and slowly return back down to the surface whenever your heart desires.

Your special new power allows you to slowly and gently float up and sink down effortlessly,

Almost like a soap bubble.

You can lift off and float up and then return to the earth's surface,

Which is as smooth and easy as stepping off an escalator.

You are becoming rather comfortable with your new ability as lifting off and floating upwards gives you a feeling of being far removed from your everyday life.

It's a bright,

Sunny day and the white,

Puffy clouds are happily sailing across the blue sky.

You decide to get away for a while.

Your feet lift off the ground.

You begin slowly floating upwards.

The light floating sensation feels relaxing.

The air is fresh and clean.

Your body feels energetic and alive.

And your movements are free and unrestricted.

Everything feels lighter.

It's effortless and easy to move your arms and legs around.

Your joints and muscles feel flexible,

Relaxed,

Healthy,

And vibrant.

You continue slowly floating upwards.

The world below you is getting smaller as you ascend.

You grin with delight as you continue drifting upward.

You can see everything below shrinking down,

Becoming tiny and distant as you continue to rise.

You feel a complete sense of safety as you're entirely removed from all other people and places.

Along with this safety,

You also have a sense of independence and strength.

The sunshine feels warm and you're thoroughly at peace.

Floating upwards,

You're now above the clouds and so far removed.

You're feeling safe and protected.

Take a moment to enjoy this feeling of safety.

Take a moment to appreciate your own sense of independence.

At any time,

You can return to this safe and comfortable place.

We have reached the end of this session.

However,

Enjoy this relaxed state for as long as you like.

I’m generally not one for such visualizations, but thought I’d try it since it’s just 10min and I actually really liked it. Nice body scan in the beginning and I really felt calm before the visualization even started. ThanksπŸ™πŸ½
