Welcome to Day 10 of Soul Sustenance.
We all have been looking for love,
Peace and happiness.
It is to be experienced in these moments when we choose love over hurt,
Peace over conflict,
Happiness over anger.
It's a choice we have to make.
When everything is going right and we claim that we love,
Trust and care for those around us,
Even those who hurt us,
Is easy.
It is when everything seems to have gone wrong that we have to ask ourself,
Do we love,
Trust and care for them?
And do we love ourself?
This means that we indulge in trade in our relationships.
We want something in return for everything we give.
We want love in return of love.
We want happiness when we give happiness to someone.
When this does not happen,
We are hurt and cannot forget what happened.
Suppose you are part of a group of friends with different personalities and a lot of positive and negative characteristics are there which everyone possesses.
Do you always get what you expect from each one?
No.
So how does one handle this?
The method of becoming a giver and not someone who is always asking for love and respect from others is to start filling oneself with those treasures first.
One can do this by connecting with the highest source or God or universal field who is full of those treasures himself and that too permanently.
He is the ocean of all those virtues.
The fundamental idea here is that every person is a microcosm of the universe.
This means that you and everything you experience in the world around you are in essence the same field of energy.
So let's begin our meditation today as we connect to the highest source to fulfill our want for love,
Peace,
Happiness and so on.
Take a deep breath into your abdomen and allow the body to become still.
As you exhale,
Release unwanted energy.
Center yourself as you release all focus of the external.
Turn your attention inwards,
Bringing the focus to the center of the forehead.
To the spark of energy that you are.
A being of infinitesimal light.
A star shining in the controller seat of the body.
Let's take this star upwards.
Beyond the borders of limitation.
Imagine yourself flying up above,
Going into space.
As you look down below,
You notice planet earth.
Surrounding you are the other planets.
You are now totally weightless.
No gravity holding you.
You begin to float amongst the stars.
You notice how they are glowing with rainbow like colors.
Amongst these stars,
You notice that one is shining ever so bright.
Not so bright that you cannot see it.
But brighter than the rest of the stars around you.
You feel a strong sense of pull towards this bright star.
Like a magnetic thread attracting you to it.
As you come closer to this light,
You feel an immense sense of peace take over.
You feel immersed in an ocean of peace.
Floating so freely.
You become aware of the serenity within your being.
You realize that you have now connected with the source.
The universal powerhouse.
You experience rays of light filtering into you.
You sense a warmth.
Love is all around you.
Love is within you.
You are love.
The ocean of love continues to radiate this tremendous energy of love.
As you feel satisfied with this love,
A surge of happiness engulfs you.
You are being filled with basket loads of happiness.
Along with this,
Immense joy takes over your being.
You are feeling whole.
As the beams of energy shower upon you,
A sense of deep oneness restores any emptiness you felt.
Any emptiness you may still feel.
You stay with this a little while longer.
Feeling whole.
It is now time to return back to the field of play.
Back to gravity.
You release yourself from the supreme energy and return back to the confines of shape and form.
Feeling complete.
Gently bring your full awareness to your surroundings.
Remember,
You are intimately connected to this energy and cannot be separated from it.
You quite literally contain everything in the universe.
So invite universal unlimited abundance to flow into your life.
