Welcome to day 5 of soul sustenance.
In today's meditation we will explore the art of acceptance.
Acceptance gives us the ability to remain calm and flow with life.
It helps us to live light and travel our journey remaining light as it frees us from a baggage of judgment,
Expectations,
Anxieties and anticipations.
We learn to accommodate people and situations rather than resisting them or judge them as right or wrong.
We also do not hold them responsible for our emotions.
When we accept we appreciate,
Motivate,
Love and respect.
As we experience and practice acceptance,
We experience greater acceptance from others.
Acceptance does not mean everything is perfect.
It means our state of mind is perfect.
Acceptance does not mean to let things be the way they are.
It means keeping our mind stable and working on the situation.
Acceptance of what has happened is the first step to start working towards the solution.
We need to accept our own self along with our mistakes or difficult characteristic traits first and only then focus on corrections.
Else we go into guilt and regret which deplete our soul power.
Acceptance moves us towards transformation.
It allows us to be free from the shackles of denial and move forward creating a new path.
Accepting other people means we accept that they are different from us.
It does not necessarily mean that we agree with them.
It also does not mean we accept people's negative ways and habits and let them be their way.
It only means our mind does not get disturbed.
It remains detached from their character.
So let us dive deep into the ocean of acceptance as we begin our meditation.
Be still and observe your breath.
Notice how you are relaxing both body and mind.
Bringing total awareness to the now.
Imagine yourself walking along the seaside.
Feel how the warm fine sand filters through your toes with every step you take.
Notice the seagulls flying in the clear blue sky.
You hear the laughter of children playing in the distance.
You begin to observe the waves of the sea crashing against the shore.
The constant flow of the waves back and forth reminds you of the scenes of life.
The different impacts it has on your life.
At the same time you take note of the vastness of the sea.
On the surface it may appear to be in constant motion but deep down below there is a deep stillness.
Allow yourself to dive into the sea.
Your body begins to sink downwards till you can no longer hear the external sounds.
Look down below and notice the beauty and silence of this vast underground world.
You notice several schools of fish swimming around,
The colourful corals and the variety of other sea creatures,
The reflection of the sun's rays on the seabed,
The various seashells in all sizes and shapes.
You become aware of this quiet space.
There is no sound to be heard.
You enjoy this in-depth peace,
Serenity and calm.
You become totally lost in the magnificence of this amazingly systematic,
Synchronic world.
A world of total acceptance.
You continue to observe the scene for a little while longer,
Feeling a great sense of inner stability.
You fill yourself with this feeling of inner stability.
You now begin to swim upwards,
Up,
Up until you break through the surface.
You return to the shore,
Feeling more silent and stable within.
You return back to your life's responsibilities,
Knowing that you have created a shift within,
Thus increasing your inner power of efficiency and decision making,
Thus any choice you make from now on will be with full awareness while being totally present.
Om Shanti.
