Hello and welcome to this guided meditation from Jane Grey.
Please do not listen to this recording whilst driving or operating machinery.
This guided meditation will help you to let go so that you can experience less stress
and more serenity.
Just find a comfortable place to sit.
Place your feet flat on the floor,
Put your hands loosely in your lap
and when you're comfortable just close down your eyes.
And as you sit there know that this next five minutes is just time for you and you.
And know that there is nowhere else for you to be apart from right here,
Right now,
Right where your body is.
Starting at your feet,
Just move your attention up your body,
Relaxing and releasing as you go.
So move your attention up from the feet through your legs,
Up into your hips,
Up through your spine,
Down into your arms and hands,
Up through your neck,
Into your head,
Relaxing and releasing as you go.
I want you to imagine a warm white light
coming down from the universe,
From the heavens above
and flowing down through the top of your head.
Now imagine that warm white light flooding through the rest of your body,
Touching every cell,
Relaxing and releasing as it goes.
Right down,
Right down into your feet.
And now with your attention on the soles of your feet,
I want you to become aware of that connection.
Imagine beneath your feet,
Become aware of that connection.
Imagine beneath your feet are magnets
and those magnets connect you to the floor below you,
To the ground below the building you're in,
Taking you right down to the center of the earth.
Connecting to the power and the energy of the earth,
Grounding you,
Grounding you.
As you feel connected,
Just let go of all of the stress you're currently feeling.
Feel it sink down below you,
Releasing,
Letting go.
Remembering that your connection to that warm white light is always there.
Remembering that there is something bigger at play here.
Remembering that life really does have your back.
Remembering that you can let go of the stress you're currently feeling.
Remembering that you can let go of the stress,
You can let go of the effort,
And you can let in the natural power of the universe.
Bring your awareness back to your feet.
Become aware of the three-dimensional shape of your feet.
Settle into being supported.
Settle into the stillness that will allow the answers to come,
And settle into the true nature of who you truly are.
Just become aware of your feet and your hands,
And maybe give your toes and your fingers a wiggle.
And when you're ready,
Just open your eyes.
