This meditation is a visualization to bring you to the beach at sunset for complete relaxation. We have an amazing ability as humans to visualize in our minds and use that to create inner peace, relaxation, and life as we know it.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Jake Hilden and thank you for joining me today for this meditation.

Today we are using our amazing ability as humans to create inner peace and to create life itself.

Today we are going to watch sunset at the beach.

Now this is my favorite place to go in my mind and in person because the beach is something that brings me inner peace and relaxation almost instantly.

And so I invite you now to find a comfortable place where you can fully relax without any distractions,

Find a quiet place,

A place you feel safe where you can allow your eyes to close.

And I invite you after you have found this comfortable place and position,

Allow your eyes to gently close and breathe in a nice deep breath slowly.

And as you breathe it out,

Bring to mind a beautiful beach and your feet are in the white sand.

Just feel how soft and warm the sand is on the soles of your feet.

Now look up and see the beautiful blue water and how the ocean meets the sky.

The blue of the water almost matches the blue of the sky.

There may be a few white clouds slowly floating by or the sky may be perfectly clear.

This is your beach so imagine it however you want to.

You can hear the waves lapping against the sand.

A gentle breeze is caressing your skin.

And take another big deep breath in here nice and slow and imagine that you can smell the salty ocean air.

You are so very comfortable and relaxed here at the beach of your imagination.

You can feel the warm sun gently providing you with nutrients.

And now begin to walk towards the waves and feel the sand become firm under your feet because it is saturated with the ocean water.

A little wave comes up and catches your toes.

It is the perfect temperature.

Notice all the sounds that the beach has to offer.

Perhaps you hear some seagulls flying nearby or the waves crashing onto the shore.

Just enjoy this moment of complete immersion into relaxation through this visualization.

The sun is now beginning to set on the water in front of you.

The massive sun inches closer and closer to the horizon as it sends out an array of colors into the beautiful sky.

Warm oranges and crisp yellows.

As the sun touches the horizon the sky is continually changing colors.

Now you notice some reds and pinks enter this canvas of the sky before your eyes.

And as the last bit of sun dips below the horizon line the sky turns a brilliant purple.

All different kinds of purples.

This is quite possibly one of the most beautiful sunsets you've ever seen.

Enjoy all the colors constantly changing as the light is chased away by the night.

The sky slowly turns to a matte black and white stars blanket over you.

Take a moment here and just feel gratitude in your heart for taking this mental vacation to the beach.

You may sit here for as long as you need.

Continue to enjoy your beach for as long as you want.

And whenever you are ready you may open your eyes and allow this relaxation to follow you through the rest of your day or into this night of sleep ahead of you.
