Hello lovely ones,
If you've woken up this morning and your mind already feels a bit busy or there's that familiar feeling of anxiety sitting in your body,
You're really not alone.
Let's just take a few minutes together to slow things down a little.
I'm Jag and I'm really glad you're here with me this morning.
Take a slow easy breath in and a longer breath out.
Just letting your body begin to settle in its own time.
Now bring your awareness into your body.
Notice where you are,
Whether you're still in bed or sitting somewhere quietly.
Feel the support beneath you,
You don't need to hold everything up right now,
You can let yourself be supported even just for this moment.
If your mind feels busy or there's a sense of tension in your body,
That's okay,
You're not doing anything wrong,
Just noticing what's here without trying to fix it.
Now gently imagine that you're surrounded by a soft warm light,
A calm steady light that wraps around your body.
This light feels safe,
It feels supportive,
It's not trying to change you,
It's just holding you.
And as you sit in this space,
Just allow your body to soften a little,
Your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your stomach,
Gently easing,
Nothing forced,
Just a softening.
And from this softer place,
Just begin to imagine yourself moving into your day,
Not rushing,
Not overwhelmed,
Just taking things one step at a time.
You might see yourself getting ready,
Moving gently,
Feeling a little more grounded in your body,
And even if the anxiety is still there,
It doesn't feel as loud now,
It doesn't feel like it's in control.
Just imagine yourself handling the day in your own way,
With a little more ease,
A little more space between your thoughts.
You don't need to be perfect today,
You don't need to feel amazing,
You just need to meet yourself where you are.
And quietly remind yourself,
I can take today one step at a time,
I am safe in this moment,
I can move through today gently and steadily,
I don't have to rush into stress.
Let those words land in your body,
In your own way,
And when you're ready,
Just begin to bring your awareness back,
Noticing your body,
The space around you,
And as you move into your day,
See if you can carry even a small part of this calm with you,
A little more softness,
A little more trust.
You are doing better than you think,
Take care and have a gentle,
Steady start to your day.
