Discussion of Chapter 9 of my book Gifts of Grief: Red Maple Tree. The red maple tree was the backdrop for the precious photograph of Kristine and me on our wedding day. The tree, which was on the boundary line of our property, allowed me to explore boundaries, particularly the boundary between life and death.
