Welcome to another guided meditation with Ivy and Light.
In today's meditation,
We will focus on embracing the positive opportunities of mercury retrograde.
Before we begin,
Find a comfortable space where you'll have peace and quiet throughout this meditation.
You may choose to sit or lie down,
Whichever feels best for you.
Let us begin with a few deep breaths to settle in.
Breathing in,
Filling your lungs with calm and peace,
And breathing out,
Releasing any tension or stress from the body.
Then again,
Getting centered and focused,
And breathe out any distractions.
One more time,
Breathe all the way into your tailbone,
And all the way back out.
Feel your body sinking in to your chair or into the floor,
And scan through your body,
Relaxing muscles as you go.
Now that we are completely relaxed,
Let us set an intention for today's meditation.
Repeat with me our mercury retrograde affirmation.
I embrace the energy of mercury retrograde.
I embrace the positive possibilities for my life.
Again,
I embrace the energy of mercury retrograde.
I embrace the positive possibilities for my life.
There are a few different aspects of mercury retrograde that can be very beneficial for us.
As you go through this meditation,
I want you to pick one,
And then tomorrow,
You can come back to the same meditation and pick a different one,
Going through all four to really get deeply into the positive possibilities of mercury retrograde in your life.
Our first positive aspect is reconnecting with old friends and family.
Our second positive aspect is revising and completing any current projects.
Our third positive aspect is resurrecting old passions or projects you've set aside in the past.
Our fourth positive aspect is rediscovering lost opportunities or aspects within yourself.
I will read through them one more time.
Select the one you choose to focus on for this meditation.

Consider the aspect you have chosen today.
Ask yourself,
Why have I become disconnected with this in my daily life?
Why have I set aside opportunities?
Why have I prioritized other things instead of this?
Are there any fears that are keeping me from fully diving into this part of my life?
How will I feel if I spend the next few weeks refocusing on this aspect of my life?
What are the potential positive outcomes of this focus?
What is the first step I can take in this area of life?
Where would I like to see myself at the end of Mercury Retrograde?
Take a few moments to reflect on the answers you've received.
Based on these answers,
What action will you take today to refocus and make the most of this opportunity?
To affirm your intention,
Repeat a few times,
I will,
And state that intentional action.
Now that you can see the positive opportunity ahead of you during these next few weeks,
It's time to come back into your body and into this space so you can take this action.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take a deep breath and out,
And gently open your eyes.
Carry your intention with you throughout these next few weeks.
Take this time to reconnect to these friends,
These projects,
These passions,
And your inner self,
Knowing that once Mercury Retrograde passes,
You can get back to those other things in your life that you generally focus on.
Remember,
Mercury Retrograde is not a time of fear,
But opportunity to reconnect,
Revise,
Refocus,
And align with your full potential.
Embrace it with an open heart and curious mind,
And make the most of it.
