Welcome to another guided crystal meditation with Ivy and Light.
Today's meditation is focused on love,
Revitalizing,
Expanding and empowering our experience of all kinds of love.
There are four main types of love,
Which I'm sure you're familiar with.
The love of family,
Love of friends,
Romantic love and universal love.
Together we will embrace and experience each of these types of love today.
And in the end,
We'll be able to harness this love energy,
Increasing our love for self and for the entire universe through a simple practice you can do anytime,
Any day.
Before we begin,
Make sure you're comfortable sitting or lying down in a safe,
Quiet space.
You may choose to diffuse essential oils such as rose,
Tangerine or joy blend so that you breathe in these love enhancing oils throughout our meditation.
You might also hold a heart chakra crystal,
Placing it in your non-dominant hand to increase the flow of energy from the crystal into your body.
Today's meditation was inspired by rhodonite and turquoise,
But you may choose any heart chakra crystal from your collection that speaks to you today.
Now that you're all settled in and ready,
You may gently close your eyes,
Relaxing your face,
Your neck,
Your arms,
Hands,
Softening the stomach muscles,
Releasing tension from your back and hips,
And relaxing the muscles in your legs and feet.
Breathe in a full deep breath,
Hold that breath,
And exhale,
Breathing out all of the stale air and energy from your body.
Breathe in again,
Focusing on drawing in love energy,
And now breathing out any stress or frustration.
Breathe in deeply one last time,
Relaxing all of your muscles as you breathe out.
And now you can continue to breathe more gently,
Finding a rhythm that feels comfortable for you.
As we begin flowing through our experiences of love,
The first type of love we'll focus on is family love,
That bond,
That energy shared between relatives,
Whether they are near or far.
This love transcends behavior,
Transcends those moments where we like our family or when we're frustrated with them.
This love is connected to your existence,
To the miracle that brought you into physical reality on this earth.
As you continue to breathe comfortably in and out,
Imagine your family joining you here.
You can place them at any distance that feels comfortable for you.
Feel that connection with them that spans all time that goes back generations.
Imagine the good and beautiful things in your life today,
The little things and the big things.
All of this exists because you exist and you exist because your family exists.
So take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs with courage.
And now as you breathe out,
Imagine yourself saying thank you to your family.
Thank you for being part of my life.
Thank you for the good choices you made and the mistakes you made that helped to bring me life.
Focus your attention on the flow of love from yourself out to your family and back from them to you.
For you are connected to their existence too.
Allow that gratitude to flow into your body and fill you up with joy.
Imagine this feeling for a few moments,
Soaking it in.
Now,
Let us turn to friendship.
To the love you share with your chosen family,
Those you hold close in your heart and mind,
Those who support you,
Keep you grounded,
Inspire you to become better,
Call you out on your nonsense and lift you up in love.
No matter when this bond was created,
It can be strong and flexible and long lasting.
It is our choice whether we build this love on condition or whether we support each other unconditionally.
Today let's focus on the essence of love and extend that energy to your friends no matter their perfections or flaws.
Imagine your friends here with you now.
Invite them to enter into this space of love with you,
Sitting or standing together in a circle.
Imagine the love of each one gathering together and swirling around the center of the sphere,
Becoming enmeshed together,
Growing in strength and power,
Creating enough love to spread beyond the circle and out into the world.
Spend a few moments experiencing how this love of friends can create a power to change lives and make the world a better place.
Here's how it disappointed you.
Now,
Let us turn to the love that gets all the attention,
To romance,
To that special bond between two people that draws them together like magnets,
Like moths to a flame.
That love that burns brightly,
That love that we often seek to fill a void.
That this love is most precious not when two halves come together,
But when two wholes choose to combine to celebrate each other's wholeness,
The quirks,
The flaws,
The beauty,
The divinity and everything else.
If you've already found this love in your life,
Invite your person into this space with you.
If you are seeking romance,
Invite your desired person to join you.
Imagine for a moment all of their best qualities,
Everything you admire.
Tell them,
I love you because.
.
.
Now imagine their flaws.
Yes,
They do have some.
Tell them,
I love you because.
.
.
Embrace those flaws with your love,
With the infinite capacity of love to accept,
To comfort and to heal.
Imagine holding their hands and looking deep into their eyes.
Tell them,
I am whole.
Thank you for loving the whole me.
Now tell them you are whole.
I love the whole you.
Spend a few moments in the space of all encompassing love,
Allowing it to fill your heart,
Your body flowing through your arms and hands and entwining with the love of your person until you are both flowing with each other's love.
Now our fourth type of love is universal love,
That love for the wholeness and oneness and uniqueness of everything in our universe,
For all its beautiful connections,
For balance,
For life itself.
We are each part of this universal whole.
Even within ourselves,
We each have light and shadow,
Good and bad,
Perfection and flaws,
And all other balancing energies within our unlimited potential.
Each of these energies can balance beautifully,
Living within you in a space of respect,
Compassion,
Understanding and love.
Take a moment today to express your love for your whole self.
Imagine all your best qualities.
Tell yourself,
I love you because of all these things.
Now imagine your perceived imperfections.
Tell yourself,
I fully and completely love you,
Including all of these things.
Imagine this love energy flowing throughout your body,
Every single corner,
Every single bit of your body and soul.
Release this full and whole love.
When we are full of love,
It bubbles up,
It becomes so full and powerful that it can indeed,
It must be shared.
Let us share our love with the entire universe,
Celebrating the wholeness of all that is.
Together we will perform a simple practice that can be repeated anytime and anywhere to help you increase your experience of love and your ability to expand and spread that love to those around you.
Imagine your entire body sitting here or lying here.
Feel all the love flowing through your body.
Imagine it convincing,
Gathering together toward your core,
Getting warmer and brighter.
Take one long deep breath in,
Fanning the flames of this love.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine shooting all this love out in all directions,
As if you have superpowers to send waves of love for miles and miles with just your intention.
Breathe in again,
Gathering up all the love of the universe,
Condensing it into a beautiful ball of light.
And now breathing out,
Shooting out that love,
Expanding it with your thoughts,
Allowing it to cover everything within the room and everything you can imagine outside the room.
Let's breathe in one more time,
Breathing in that love and sending it right back out to the universe.
This practice will become easier and easier over time,
Building this energetic muscle,
The ability to send and receive love through your intention.
Now you can share love with the universe in a deeper and more powerful way every single day.
