Hello and welcome to a guided meditation titled Blowing Your Worries Away by Jennifer Pavlounos.

Sit or lie down in whatever position is most comfortable for you.

Begin to ground into your space by noticing where your body is making contact with furniture,

Floor,

Or ground.

Feel the weight of your body gently sinking into the surface and feel that that surface is here to support you in return.

Imagine a sensation of calm,

The very feel,

The sense of calm and relaxation.

Slowly start to drip down over the back,

Side,

And front of your head and face.

Over your forehead,

Smoothing out wrinkles,

Furrowing,

And tension in your forehead or brows.

Align the muscles at the back of your head to relax and releasing also any tension you feel in your temples.

Feel the sensation of calm dripping over the rest of your head and face,

And your eyes,

Your nose,

Your jaw,

Your jaw to release with your teeth open slightly and your tongue removed from the roof of your mouth,

Relaxing the base of your skull,

Your neck,

Your throat,

And your shoulders.

Drop down away from your ears as the sensation of calm drips over them as well as your collarbone and scapula.

Continue to visualize this wave of calm moving down for the rest of your arms and torso and feel each part of your body soften,

Loosen,

And let go of any tension as the calm moves over it.

See the calm wash over your hips,

Spine,

Stomach,

Thighs,

Relaxing your legs.

Each part releases and lets go as you see that calm dripping over it,

Your calves,

Your feet,

And your toes.

Now that you are relaxed,

Visualize a beautiful grassy field spreading out as far as you can see.

Imagine that the weather is your absolute favorite weather.

Feel the perfect temperature.

See your perfect sky.

Feel just the right amount of breeze.

Start to walk through this field slowly,

Breathing in beautiful smells of nature,

Taking in all the sights,

Perhaps noticing some of your favorite trees or flowers,

Or catching a glimpse of your favorite animal.

Stop where you are in the field and look down to see a dandelion that has gone to seed.

Its white puff stands at the top of its stem.

You reach down and pluck the dandelion,

Lifting it up in front of your face and call to mind now as you look at this beautiful dandelion any worries that have been on your mind lately.

Wish to state them beginning with I am afraid of or what if and as you say each worry imagine that you are able to pluck it from the air as it exits your mouth and place that worry on one of the dandelion seeds.

Continue to do this with each and every worry that comes to mind,

Speaking it,

Plucking it out of the air,

And placing it onto the dandelion.

And as you do so,

You are removing the worry from your mind.

And once you have all these attached to the delicate little dandelion seeds,

Prepare to release them,

To let them go,

To be taken on by the earth,

Universe,

Spirit,

Whatever you wish to send them off to,

Knowing that it or they will take your worries and turn them into beautiful,

Loving,

Life force energy,

Removing your worries from you and transmuting them to something better.

Once you feel ready to let go in this way,

Bring your dandelion towards your mouth,

Take a deep breath in,

And blow those seeds and worries away.

See each and every seed and worry carried off in the breeze,

Out,

Up,

Away,

Somehow lifted higher and higher and higher up into the sky until eventually you can no longer see a single seed or worry.

And once they're all gone,

Wave goodbye and thank the earth or spirit or universe for taking for taking these worries from you and bring the you and your vision back to meet with your body,

Grounding back into your body,

Perhaps by wiggling fingers and toes or gently moving the muscles of your face.

And in your own time,

When you are ready,

May you be lighter,

May you be happier,

May you be worry free.
