Since 2004, Yonah Levy has been guiding people back to peace and from there to thriving as a Counselor, Coach and Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher.
Yonah studied Behavioral and Social Psychology and received five years of Humanistic Counseling training from a psychologist taught by Carl Rogers. Yonah has worked with thousands of clients from all walks of life, helping them move beyond inner blockages and optimize their lives.
Yonah has been practicing and teaching Mindfulness and Meditation for nearly three decades. He learned from disciples of Sri Chinmoy and has spent several years learning from Dr. Tara Brach and others through in person and continuous self-study. He has completed multiple Vipassana courses under S.N. Goenka, based on teachings of the Buddha rooted in 25 centuries of tradition. Yonah leads drawing from thousands of hours of meditation study, practice, and facilitation.
Yonah blends Western science and psychology with ancient Eastern practices. His positive, holistic approach works with the fundamentals of the whole person.

Don't Walk Through A Storm Alone
When times are tough we often attempt to move through them alone. Sometimes this is due to shame or fear that people simply won't understand. But it can be so valuable to seek out people that will lovingly listen to us and support us and this can help us move through challenging times faster, in a more gentle way.

Practicing Kindness And Compassion With The Self
When we're having a hard time we can make our lives harder by judging and criticizing ourselves. It helps us so much to first notice when we're doing this and then to intentionally be kinder with ourselves.
Also, although it can be very challenging, practicing gratitude when times are tough can move the needle and help improve our experience.
Lezione 3
Movement, Nature, And Sleep
Sometimes when we're going through a hard time we don't move our bodies or spend much time outside in nature. Our sleep often suffers too. In this class will explore ways to get into motion to improve our experience, look at how nature can help boost our mood and help us feel peaceful, and we'll go into ways to improve sleep, which can dramatically improve our mood and overall resilience.
