The Power of Sharing
Today, I share why compassion is such a vital part of menopause and how it can feel far easier to express and feel compassion toward others... rather than ourselves. I also walk you through step 1 of the 9 steps: SHARE, seeing how sharing with others not only supports us but can be equally valuable for them.

Exploring Ways To Adjust
Step 2 is EXPLORE. This is all about how deepening our understanding of what's going on can really support ourselves in seeing what would best support us. We then move on to Step 3: ADJUST. This is not about giving up or giving in, it's about seeing what we can and what we can't control - and choosing where we place our attention... and where we spend our energy.

Reframing With Compassion
When we REFRAME something we learn ways of looking at it differently. This is Step 4 of the 9 Steps, and I share how bringing more compassion to our gaze helps us in that reframing process. We then look at the mother of all these steps... COMPASSION. You'll also hear a useful practice that can help you access more compassion when it feels hardest.

Hope That Leads To Insight
HOPE is Step 6. You'll hear how this is a deeply powerful mindset to choose, and how it is a choice we can all make. From hope we move to Step 7 and the wisdom of INSIGHT - hearing how learning about the science and biology of menopause can help us create that more compassionate place of awareness.

Nourishing And Gathering
In our final day of the course, I share a little of my own menopause story, and how I learnt why self-compassion is such a vital part of how we move through this important life stage. We hear Step 7 is NOURISH and I share the breadth and depth of what self-care truly means. Then we close with Step 9: GATHER. Of course, just being here is a way of gathering with others. And I'm grateful to have 'gathered' with you to share these 9 Steps.
