Welcome to 8 minutes of presencing together.
We can begin by relaxing the eyes,
Softening the gaze,
Or perhaps closing the eyes,
Depending on our comfort level.
Let's allow our jaws and our tongues to relax.
And let's notice any expressions or tension that we might be holding in the face,
And then let that go as well.
We might notice the placement of our heads above our shoulders,
And we can observe the dignity of the spine and the shape that it makes in space.
We might notice the aspect of our seat in the chair,
And how our feet are resting on the ground.
We may turn our attention to the quality of our breathing,
As we observe and notice how each breath comes in,
And each breath goes out,
Naturally and seemingly of its own accord.
And as we observe the breath,
We remain curious about how each breath might be different from the previous one,
Just noticing and observing,
And noticing and observing.
And as we notice and observe the breathing,
We might also attend to the rising and falling of the abdomen,
Of the chest.
And we might notice how this is influencing the placement of our arms and our hands.
And as we become more relaxed and more observant,
Remaining curious,
We may start to notice sensations cropping up on the body.
Maybe we may notice more sounds of the room,
And we're able to notice those,
But remain connected to observing the breathing and observing the body.
Sensations or feelings may arise from inside.
They may be energized or relaxed.
They may be warm or cool.
They may be dry or moist.
Whatever sensation arises,
Just observe and then let it be.
And now,
As we've deepened the awareness of our own sensation,
We're also able to notice the room around us is filled with others.
And we're here together,
Each with their own experience,
Each with their own observations,
And each with our own sensations arising and passing away.
And we may simply and lightly acknowledge all of our varied and diverse experiences.
Our different and similar observations and sensations may help us ground the social field,
May help us better connect and relate and relax into Kokiri.
So now,
Maintaining an observation and awareness of the breathing or of the body or of any sensations that you're experiencing,
While also remaining aware of the others in the room and the observations or sensations you may be receiving from the social body.
Relaxing in,
Observing,
Letting come and letting go.
And as we begin to conclude eight minutes of presencing together,
We allow ourselves to return back to the present moment,
Back to the room,
Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and ready.
