Throughout history,
Human beings have searched for meaning,
For purpose.
We have been trying to understand how life works,
Why things happen the way they happen.
We have tried to research into the underlying mechanisms of what makes the world move,
Why people experience what they experience.
And we have turned our attention to the one who we can also describe as the knower of all secrets.
You,
The supreme being,
The knower of all secrets.
You possess within yourself all secrets of the universe,
All secrets of time,
All secrets of the laws of spirituality which govern human experience.
Yet in addition to this,
You also have within you all the secrets about me,
About my own self.
You understand me better than I understand myself.
You can see my true potential,
Which sometimes may be hidden from me.
You can see my future.
You can see both the strengths that I need to continue to use in my life.
And you are also aware of my rough edges,
My weaknesses,
Which you caution me to pay attention to.
Since you hold all secrets within yourself,
You remain forever in a state of peace,
In a state of inner coolness.
And so when I converse with you as the knower of all secrets,
My intellect also becomes cool,
Becomes calm,
And begins to let go of any feelings of irritation or injustice I may be carrying.
You can see in an instant the past,
The present and the future as though they are all combined together in one simple point.
From your view,
Everything makes sense.
From your position,
You know why things happen the way they happen.
And so when I remember you and I remember my connection,
My relationship with you,
My perspective of life also broadens.
And I understand that by keeping you in my awareness,
I begin to grow out of the limited perspectives,
The limited beliefs which I have been carrying.
So no matter how busy I may be,
Let me choose to make some time every day to converse with you,
To share my thoughts,
My experiences,
My feelings of the day with you,
And then allow my mind to be quiet and just to receive,
To listen to your response,
Knowing that your wisdom and the secrets you hold within your wisdom will also gradually flow into me and make me wiser,
Make me better,
Make me more useful.
