Why You Feel Anxious For No Reason
by Yair Sagy
In this talk, I speak about the quiet anxiety so many of us carry — not the dramatic kind, but the subtle background hum of unease sitting just behind everyday life. I share why it's there: we live mostly in our minds, separate from our bodies and from this present moment, having condensed our boundless nature into something far too small. I want you to know this anxiety isn't a permanent fixture — it's possible to move beyond it, though, like anything worthwhile, it takes some practice. My hope is that you leave feeling that what you've been carrying can actually be set down. Please note that this talk is for supportive purposes and does not replace professional mental health care.

Are you anxious right now?
Anxiety doesn't have to be full blown.
It can be very,
Very subtle,
Just behind the screen of your existence.
A sense of nervousness.
A sense that something is wrong.
That no matter what you do,
You never feel really satisfied.
There's an underlying harm of discomfort in your nervous system.
We can call it anxiety or just nervousness overload.
But what we know is that it doesn't feel well.
That sensation of background anxiety is not a must in your life.
You can live without it.
You can drop it.
The reason why it's so strong.
Is because we live in separation,
That we live mainly in our mind,
But not in our body.
And not connected to this very moment.
The truth of your existence is really boundless.
It's not philosophy.
It's a practical,
Direct experience that you can have.
The reason why we,
Human beings,
Feel anxious is because we are infinite,
Yet we are condensing our infinite,
Boundless being into this small shape.
You can compare it to the sun that thinks that it's a candle flame.
It will explode immediately.
That's the way we're living.
That's why there's so much tension within us.
If you want to move out of anxiety.
The only way is to realize that you are a billion times bigger than this little person you think you are.
This mind that you constantly identify with each and every thought running inside it.
Those emotions that that mind constantly intoxicated your body with,
That doesn't allow you to live.
It's possible to move without it.
But it takes work.
Like everything else,
You probably go to the gym,
You run,
You exercise,
You stay fit.
Now it's the time to take care of that anxiety,
Of that background harm that doesn't let you sleep well at night,
That is constantly nagging behind your existence.
It is possible.
And that's exactly what I'm guiding and teaching.
I hope you join me on that journey.
Thank you so much.
Trust yourself.
It's possible.
Let's do this journey together.
