Sit with your back straight and your body relaxed,

Resting your hands gently on your knees Breathe normally and watch your natural breathing Just notice what the breath feels like right now Notice how you feel in your body As well as notice the state of your mind Now we're going to do some deep breaths I'm going to count you through First,

We're going to take a deep long breath in And exhale fully Now inhaling 1,

Exhaling 1,

3,

4 Inhaling 1,

2,

Exhaling 1,

3,

4 Inhale 1,

2,

Exhale 1,

2,

4 Inhaling 1,

Exhale 1,

4 Continue to breathe deeply at your own pace Allow the breath to be smooth,

Long and rhythmic Notice what feels good and stick to that And exhale slowly Good,

And whenever you're ready,

We're going to go back to breathing naturally Notice what your normal breath feels like We're not controlling the breath now Just notice Has the breath changed?

Notice the state of the body Notice the state of the mind Good,

And whenever you're ready,

We're going to end this deep breathing session And slowly allowing the eyes to open And relaxing your posture
