Welcome back.
Today we're going to do a tapping for anxiety.
I'm so happy you're here with me again for another tapping video.
As always,
You are going to follow along with me and repeat after what I say.
And we're going to be tapping on different points of the body so the tapping points again are the side of the hand the inside of the eyebrow.
The side of the eye.
Under the eye.
Under the nose.
On the chin along the collarbone.
And then on the top of the head.
So to begin with,
I want you to take a nice big deep breath in.
And tune in to a situation,
Maybe now or in the past,
Or even just a general sense of anxiety.
And as you think about that,
I want you to just scan your body from head to toe.
And just recognize and locate where you feel that anxiety in your body.
And then go ahead and rate that sensation.
So zero being no disturbance,
10 being the highest.
Just go ahead and give that anxiety a number right now.
And then we'll begin tapping and just repeat after me.
Tapping on the side of the hand.
Even though I have all of this anxiety in my body.
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I have all of this anxiety.
In my body.
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though this anxiety feels so overwhelming.
In my body.
I deeply and completely love,
And accept myself.
All of this anxiety.
My heart is racing.
My breathing is shallow.
All of this constriction in my body.
My thoughts are racing.
I can't handle this.
I feel like everything is going wrong.
It's too much to handle.
Why can't I just stop this anxiety?
It feels like the world is coming in on me.
I hate that everybody can tell that I'm anxious.
I feel like everyone is looking at me.
I feel like everyone is judging me.
All of this anxiety.
My body is buzzing with it.
I don't know if I can handle it.
I'm searching for ways to fix this,
But I can't find any.
This is such a familiar feeling.
I don't feel like myself.
This anxiety is just too big.
And yet there are times when I'm not anxious.
And when I'm not anxious,
I don't really think about it.
But when I am anxious,
It feels like the only thing that's happening in my world.
But what if there's a better way?
I've never really thought of a time in my life where the anxiety was worth it.
It takes so much energy to be anxious.
And I'd rather do it another way.
My body does know how to be calm.
It feels good to relax.
I feel more like myself when I'm relaxed.
It feels good to be able to rest in my body.
It feels good to be happy.
It feels amazing to be settled.
I feel calm and peaceful.
I know how to relax.
I'm getting better and better every day.
Go ahead and take a nice big deep breath in.
Let that go with a sigh.
And go ahead and tune back into your body.
Just noticing any sensations and being curious about anything that might have moved or changed.
And check in again with that number,
0 being no disturbance,
10 being the highest.
To see if it's come down a little bit.
And if it feels like it could go lower,
Then please feel free to use this tapping video as many times as you'd like.
I hope you've enjoyed this.
I hope you have a beautiful day and you go forth with less anxiety.
And I thank you so much for spending your time with me.
