Welcome to our final meditation together.
Find your comfortable seat and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and release it with gratitude.
Breathe in once more and let it go.
One final centering breath and let your breathing settle into its natural rhythm.
Over these last 12 days we've practiced pause,
Release,
Being,
Quiet,
Gratitude,
Wisdom,
Boundaries,
Simplicity,
Compassion,
Honoring your season and reflection.
All of this has been building to one essential truth.
Your presence,
Your real,
Authentic,
Here and now presence is the greatest gift you have to offer.
Not your accomplishments.
Not your productivity.
Not your ability to make everything perfect.
Just you.
Being fully here.
Think about the people in your life who matter the most.
What do they really want from you?
Not a perfect holiday.
Not expensive gifts.
Not an impressive display.
They want you,
Your attention,
Your laughter,
Your stories,
Your presence.
And what do you need for yourself?
Not another task completed or obligation fulfilled.
You need permission to be exactly who you are,
Right now,
Without apology or pretense.
Imagine yourself at a holiday gathering but instead of performing or proving or perfecting you are simply present,
Fully there,
Listening deeply,
Engaging authentically,
Laughing from your belly,
Speaking your truth,
Being yourself.
This version of you,
The present,
Authentic version is magnetic.
She doesn't need to try so hard because she's stopped pretending.
She's stopped performing.
She's just being.
You have spent enough of your life trying to be who you thought you should be.
Enough time worrying about what others think.
Enough energy managing appearances.
What if this holiday season,
And every day after,
You gave yourself permission to simply show up,
No mask,
No performance,
No pretense,
Just you?
Your quirks,
Your preferences,
Your boundaries,
Your joy,
Your wisdom,
Your truth.
All of it is welcome.
All of it is valuable.
All of it is a gift.
Take this moment to make a promise to yourself.
I will show up as I am.
I will be present rather than perfect.
I will offer my authentic self because that is the greatest gift I have.
You are enough.
You have always been enough.
Not when you achieve more or fix yourself or become different.
Right now,
Exactly as you are.
Take one final deep breath in,
Receiving this truth.
And exhale,
Releasing any remaining doubt.
Begin to deepen your breath,
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Go forward knowing this.
The world doesn't need your perfection.
It needs your presence.
And you have that gift to give every single day.
