Hello,
Dear souls.
Welcome to the Inner Child Wound Return Meditation.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable space to journey in.
Lying down on your side,
Tucking your legs up,
Knees into chest,
Arms wrapped around or floating to the side.
Find your way into a fetal position.
Making sure this space feels warm,
Safe and uninterrupted during this meditation.
Once you've found your space,
Gently shut down the eyes.
Starting to follow your breath.
Is it deep or shallow?
Is it short or lingering?
Just observe your breath cycle with no judgment,
Just awareness.
Wherever you find your breath in this now moment,
We will deepen it together.
Finding a big deep belly breath in through the nose,
Ballooning the stomach out and releasing out through the mouth.
On your inhale,
Breathing in stillness and peace.
On your exhale,
Releasing stress and stagnation.
Always find two more of these breath cycles in through the nose,
Inflate your belly out and exhale,
Releasing one more beautiful breath in and exhale,
Finding stillness now.
Allowing the breath to return to its natural state.
This meditation is meant to facilitate you returning to your mother's womb.
The warm comfortable waters that you resided in for nine months.
The safe secure space where darkness did not frighten you,
But gave you a sense of comfort.
Begin by connecting to your heart.
Feeling each breath and beat together.
Feel the warmth around you,
The free flowing of your body.
The darkness around you is holding you,
Cradling your body.
Your umbilical cord floating around as you move.
You are weightless,
You have no worries.
You are free.
You can feel the sides of your mother's tummy all around you,
Creating a shield of protection from the outside world.
You can sense her presence.
You can feel her heartbeat.
Take a moment to observe what this feels like to be in the womb space again.
What emotions come to the surface for you?
Do you feel safe?
Do you feel happy?
Do you feel connected to your mother?
Now observe your mother.
How does she feel to you?
What emotions is she carrying?
Open this space for a few moments within the womb,
Listening,
Feeling,
Sensing,
Hearing anything around you that comes to your awareness.
Keep breathing,
Keep feeling.
Allow anything to come up,
Releasing any emotions that you feel.
If you need to laugh,
Laugh.
If you need to cry,
Cry.
If you need to scream,
Scream.
Feel deeply now.
What messages does the inner child within the womb have for you right now to carry back to your adult self?
What can you share with your inner child floating in the womb right now that they are safe,
That they are held,
That they are loved and nourished and protected?
Regardless of the relationship you have with your mother in this now moment,
In the womb you were loved.
In the womb you were an expression of God and your souls you still are.
You will forever be loved,
Held,
Nourished,
Protected,
A divine expression of God that never ever went away and never ever will go away.
Remember the sacred space,
The sacred time in the womb.
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back from the womb space into your physical body.
See the image of your mother's womb slowly disappear.
See the waters flow away.
Return now.
The darkness has turned into light.
See yourself in this now moment,
This physical vessel that you reside in.
Take a moment to feel what it feels like in this vessel.
What aspects of your womb time do you carry?
Do you feel safe in your vessel?
Do you feel nourished in your vessel?
Do you feel loved in your vessel?
Can you embody your vessel a bit deeper now?
If you feel ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
Connecting back to the physical body,
Stretching your hands and arms overhead and extending your legs out.
Take a full body stretch as if you are being reborn into this physical body now.
Open your eyes,
Dear soul.
Take in the space around you.
Welcome back.
If you feel called to journal any experiences,
Feelings,
Emotions that surfaced during this meditation,
You should do so.
Our time in the womb is such an important part of our development.
Our inner child starts in the womb.
The essence of who we really are is held within the inner child.
And when we return to the womb,
We return to that essence.
Return to the space whenever you need to be reminded of the love,
Joy,
Happiness,
Protection,
Punishment that the womb space provided you.
Return to the womb space anytime you feel uncertain as to why you incarnated in this lifetime.
Return here whenever you need to.
