This is a meditation that's centered around opening the heart and allowing the heart to love openly and freely.
So when you're ready,
Take a moment to get comfortable either sitting or perhaps laying down.
But just get very comfortable.
And as you start to come into the space,
With your eyes open,
Just take a look around the space that you're in now.
And start to get present to the light and the textures.
Begin to feel the stillness in the room around you,
Even if there's sounds in the distance.
And when you're ready,
Go ahead and allow the eyes to just shut down.
And allow your breath to continue as it naturally is flowing in and out.
And just start to get intimately connected to the breath as it flows in and out.
Start to feel where you feel the breath the most.
And just sense this flow of oxygen moving in through your body and simply being released again.
And as you continue to breathe and get present to the breath,
You start to sense this flow of life force in and out of your body.
We start to notice that our nose and our mouths are just holes until we allow the flow of life through them.
Start to notice that when we allow this life force energy to begin to pass through these holes in our being,
They become openings as an aliveness that occurs as these holes begin to open and allow the passage of life force energy to move through us.
Just breathe now being present to that.
Notice how easy it is to breathe and how good it feels to have this exchange of life force energy move in and out.
Now allow your consciousness to move down into your chest and begin to focus your attention on your heart space.
Begin to notice how the heart can also be an opening for love to flow.
As you bring your conscious awareness around your heart and start to see it just like your mouth or your nose.
Start to notice someone in your life who you love very deeply.
Begin to imagine that you're with them now and notice what your heart feels.
Start to notice the flow of love that occurs in your heart space as you bring this person to mind.
Just notice if there's love flowing in or out or both and see if the flow of love can be opened just a bit more.
Feeling warm and connected.
Now bring to mind yourself doing something you love.
Perhaps a creative project or being somewhere in nature.
Bring to mind something that you love doing or some place you love being.
And as you bring this place to mind just start to notice the flow of love in your heart space.
Allow this thing to be breathed in through your heart and just notice what it feels like to breathe through your heart and to relax anything in your chest that's impeding the flow.
And just notice as the breath of your lungs begins to match the breath of your heart and just feel what it feels like to have the heart breathe without any resistance,
Without anything blocking.
As we come back to the room notice that you can take this feeling and carry it throughout your day.
And as you move throughout your day know that you can always be reminded to allow your heart to breathe by noticing the easy steady flow of the breath through your being.
And when you're ready come back to the space that you're in,
Soft and gentle.
