This simple meditation will guide you into the peace found in your compassionate heart. When we turn our consciousness toward our heart space we allow it to soften and open so we can feel grounded and at peace remembering deeper truths found in the present moment.

Hello welcome to this meditation we're going to be doing a simple meditation today that centers around compassion and expanding the energy of the heart so take a moment and find a seated position or if you prefer to lay down that's totally fine too and as you settle within the space we'll begin to take a few breaths breathe out wherever you are now take a deep breath in through the nose slow and steady and as you let it out just see what goes with it and take another deep breath in through the nose and releasing out and just notice what wants to go with it and taking one more deep breath in and sighing out and just allowing the breath to become steady again finding its natural cadence and just observing the magic of the breath as it returns to a balanced calm flow and on the inhales just imagine that you're breathing directly into your heart center now on the exhales imagine that your heart is blowing out love and compassion into the space around you and breathing in notice love filling your passionate body and on the exhale notice all that love and compassion flowing back out again just take a moment to breathe in this way calm steady breath calm steady heart bringing in love and sending out love and as you breathe and as you fill your lungs with love and joy just notice if there's a softening of your heart space and easing of any protection anything protecting the heart just notice if it starts to melt and a soft warming of the heart begins and just notice if you start to feel safer or calm or able to be in this present moment as we begin to ground into our hearts into the compassion that is within us and that surrounds us in every present moment just let your body be at ease knowing that you are safe you are divinely protected you are loved and just notice the space that you're becoming notice what's opening inside of you what does it feel like and now feeling a bit more at ease we just notice what's shifted within us in these few minutes of meditation you notice what happens when we come back to this present moment and remember the truth of our existence that we are safe we are rooted in love and compassion and as we focus on this present moment we water those seeds of compassion so they can grow deep roots and keep the love and peace vital within us as we walk through every moment of our days may you be loved may you be at peace and may compassion fill your heart and flood into all the lives that you touch today with love and light thank you
