Take a moment to get comfortable.
Comfort looks different on everyone,
So perhaps your eyes are closed,
Or maybe you're sitting with a candle lit,
Or lying down with an eye pillow.
Just take a moment to set up now.
Once you're comfortable,
Start to connect with your breath.
Breathe in deeply through the nose.
Feel your belly,
And really let go on the exhale.
Try that twice more here.
Breathe in deeply,
And sigh out.
Breathe in deeply through the nose,
And sigh out.
Now allow your breath to settle in its own natural rhythm.
There is no right or wrong way to breathe.
Just allow the breath to move naturally through you.
Notice how your body settles as your mind softens,
And how peaceful it feels to relax into the breath.
Very gently,
Take your awareness now to your heart space.
That is,
The very centre of your chest.
Start to direct the breath gently here.
Breathe deeply into the chest,
And let go on the exhale.
Perhaps you feel called to imagine you're breathing in light.
Maybe it's a beautiful pale pink colour,
Like a rose quartz crystal,
Or green,
Which is the colour of the heart chakra.
Maybe it's a different colour entirely.
Just allow this light to expand,
Rippling through your heart space,
And opening up this energetic centre.
If an emotion arises here,
Allow it to move through you.
If you're getting caught up in your thoughts,
That's also okay.
Just come back to the breath.
Now placing a hand or two on your heart space,
I invite you to ask it,
What do you need from me in this moment?
Listen to and trust in whatever comes first.

Take a few more moments here to breathe consciously with the wisdom that has landed for you today.
When you feel ready,
You can start to deepen the breath in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
As you bring gentle movement back into your body,
Send deep gratitude to your heart space for this wisdom received.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes.
