I invite you to find yourself in a comfortable seated position.
Having your cacao handy but not yet in your hands.
You can place it to the side.
And we'll pick it up in a moment but for now.
.
.
Just taking a few deep breaths to arrive in this space for you today.
Taking any final stretches,
Perhaps a rolling of the neck.
Shrugging your shoulders up to your ears and letting them gently drop.
Just acknowledging what your body needs from you before you arrive in a space of stillness and presence and comfortably finding yourself in an upright seated position.
As you start to take a few deep gentle breaths here,
Breathing deeply through the nose,
Feeling the lungs and the belly.
And then when you reach your fullest,
Audibly letting go with a sigh on the exhale breath.
And we'll do that a few more times together,
Breathing deeply in through the nose,
Filling the lungs and the belly and audibly exhaling out the mouth,
Letting go.
And as you breathe here,
Breathing deeply in through the nose,
I want you to envision as you exhale,
That you're really letting go of the morning,
The day or the week gone by,
Letting go on that exhale.
Beautiful.
And just starting to find yourself and your breath in its own natural rhythm.
For the next little while there is no right or wrong way to breathe.
And maybe.
You could attach a color.
Or a light to your breath.
And starting to seek out any points of tension in your physical body.
Maybe.
Pain in your back and not in your stomach.
Directing your breath to these points of tension.
And imagining as you breathe in.
To these points.
You are attaching this light.
And liberating the tension as you exhale.
Creating some spaciousness.
And some ease.
Maybe for you.
It isn't physical tension.
Perhaps you notice that you have a busy mind.
In which case directing this light,
Your breath,
To the mind.
And imagining as you exhale here.
You're quietly minimizing those taps.
And taking a few rounds of breath here.
Observing the body.
Breathing light into those tension points.
In creating some spaciousness and release through the exhale breath.
And very gently bringing your awareness now to the parts of your body making contact with the surface beneath you.
Your sit bones,
Your feet,
The base of your spine.
And just imagining here that you are breathing into that invisible gravitational force,
That pull that's connecting you to the present moment.
To the here and now.
Acknowledging that in this moment,
There is nowhere else you need to be.
That nobody needs anything from you.
And that this is time that is just for you.
Very gently you can bring your cacao now to rest.
In the center of your chest.
Connecting with the warmth of the mug beneath your fingertips.
Smelling the sweetness of the medicine in the air.
And just starting to feel any sensations that are arising as you hold this ancient and revered medicine of the heart.
And just connecting in with her essence here.
As you start to breathe with intention down through the parts of your body making contact with the earth.
Through the layers of dirt and soil and dust.
And finding yourself reaching the very center of Mother Earth.
Anchoring yourself here.
With her womb.
And feeling the arrival here of the elemental forces of earth,
Air,
Water,
And fire.
As we call them into the space.
Feeling the arrival of Pachamama Mama Earth.
Gaia Energy.
Her energy of love,
Unconditional love,
Compassion and forgiveness,
The abundant energy that she holds,
Feeling that energy arrive here as you breathe.
And bringing into your heart deep gratitude for the traditional land custodians from where you have gathered this morning.
Holding gratitude for the elders past and present who have tended to the earth that you call home.
And here we also call in with gratitude the medicine men and women.
And my teachers,
The Peruvian maestros of the Seven Rays lineage.
Who have permitted us to work.
With Mama Cacao in this way.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And repeating internally,
Thank you,
Thanking the elements.
Thanking the elders.
They're traditional custodians of the medicine and of the land.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Calling to your heart gratitude for the mountains.
Your animal guardians and guides.
And any other land connection that you hold.
As you bring your cacao to your lips and breathe this gratitude for the earth into your medicine.
And receive your sip.
Repeating thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And starting to feel the warmth of the medicine,
Wake up.
Your physical body,
Activate every cell,
Anchor deep into your heart as you breathe this energy of the earth up now,
Up from the center of Mother Earth,
Passing through all the layers of dirt and dust and soil,
All the insects and the bugs and back into the room you're in,
Back into your body.
And feeling this energy of the earth now moving through every cell,
Every energy center,
All the way up.
Perhaps taking an additional breath on any part of your body that needs it as you breathe.
As this energy of the earth activates a grounded quality in your being.
And moving this energy all the way up to the very tip of your head,
To the center of your head,
Your crown.
And just taking a few breaths here to start to awaken this energy center.
The center that connects you to the magic of the cosmic realms,
The unseen realms.
And I invite you to imagine here as you breathe that a beautiful tunnel of light is activated from the center of your head all the way up into the sky above.
And I invite you to breathe up that tunnel of light now.
Through the center of your head,
Past the ceiling and the roof above and out into the sky.
And as you breathe,
You are breathing past the canopy of trees.
Above,
You're breathing past the sun and the moon and the stars and all of the planets in the cosmic realms.
And continuing to breathe as you reach the very,
Very edge of the cosmos.
And here you were met by a beautiful pink light.
And this is the light of compassion.
Moving your energy into this light,
Feeling safely held as this pink light completely envelops your entire being,
And here feeling the arrival of all of your guardians,
Your spirit guides,
Your spirit team,
Your angels.
Your ancestors of blood and bone,
Those who you walk from.
And as you feel the arrival of these benevolent beings of the cosmic realms repeating internally,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Breathing your gratitude into your medicine.
And receiving your sip.
And starting to breathe this energy from the cosmos down now.
Through the pink lights.
Past the planets and the stars and the sun and the moon,
Past the canopy of trees above and back into the room you're in,
Back into that tunnel of light.
And into your body.
And noticing as the energy of the cosmos here activates every cell.
Connecting you to divinity in the unseen.
The magic and the mystery.
I'm taking a moment to notice as the energy of the Earth and the energy of the cosmos meet.
In the center of your chest.
In your heart space.
Feeling the warmth of this space as your mug rests here.
And taking a moment of acknowledgement that you are the bridge.
Between heaven and earth.
That your heart.
Is the conduit between spirit and meta.
And feeling deep gratitude here.
For your beautiful body.
For this human form.
And most of all for the rhythmic beat of your heart.
That seems to whisper,
I am here.
I am alive.
And gathering up deep gratitude for all of the ways your heart beats for you without question.
All of the wisdom your heart holds for you,
Whether you listen or not.
Gathering that gratitude for your beautiful heart.
And breathing it into your medicine.
Go.
Receiving your SIP.
And repeating thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you in gratitude.
And so it is.
And I invite you now to call into your heart.
A prayer.
For someone that you love.
Envisioning this person in your mind's eye.
And noticing who arrives for you in this moment.
Trusting.
In who presents themselves.
And imagining they are seated opposite you.
Eye to eye.
Heart to heart.
What do you most wish?
For this loved one in your life.
What is your heart's greatest desire for them?
And feeling that wish.
That prayer that you hold for them.
Gather it up with all of the love you have in your heart for this person in your life.
And breathe.
This prayer into your medicine.
Receiving your sip.
And in the knowledge that this prayer is already making its way to them.
Repeating thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
In gratitude and so it is.
I invite you now to call into your heart a prayer of gratitude.
And this can be for someone or something.
This can be for the simplest moment.
The beauty of the sunrise or the sunset.
A beautiful flower or butterfly you passed in your day today.
This can be the love of a pet or a child in your life.
This could be gratitude for the medicine of Mama cacao.
No matter how big.
Or how small.
Taking a moment.
To connect with those moments of gratitude in your life.
One or plenty.
Feeling them arrive.
Feeling the swell of your heart.
With this gratitude as you breathe.
Of this gratitude into your medicine.
Receiving your SIP.
Repeating thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
In gratitude and so it is.
And now I invite you to call into your heart a prayer for the collective.
And this prayer goes out to Mother Earth.
And all of her children.
This prayer goes out to the strangers we pass each day in the street,
Our neighbours,
Our loved ones.
This is a prayer for all,
So nobody misses out,
Everybody receives.
This is a prayer for anyone who is in need of a prayer,
Anyone in your life.
And all those unknown to us.
So nobody misses out.
Everybody receives.
Gathering this prayer of compassion and unconditional love into your heart.
For the collective,
The world over.
It's Mother Earth.
As you bring your medicine to your lips and breathe this prayer for the collective into your medicine.
And receive your sip.
Repeating thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you in gratitude.
And so it is.
And now this is your time.
To offer any final prayers of intention.
Prayers that live on your heart today.
For the day ahead.
The week ahead.
The month ahead.
You can pray for yourself.
Knowing that the more you receive,
The more you have to offer and to give.
In the spirit of reciprocity.
Perhaps there are people in your life you know need a breath.
And you can do this in your own time by offering each prayer one by one with your breath into your mug.
Receiving your SIP.
Feeling the arrival of all of these visions and wishes you hold in your heart.
No prayer too big.
And as you continue to sip here.
Calling in gratitude for all of the guardians of light and love who've held us in our ritual this morning.
Deep gratitude for Mama Kakao for her medicine.
The medicine of the heart.
Calling in gratitude for the guardians of the earth.
From Mother Earth,
Pachamama.
For the elements of earth,
Air,
Water,
And fire.
For the benevolent beings of light who have held us.
For the custodians of the earth.
For the custodians of the medicine.
For the Peruvian maestros of the Seven Rays lineage.
For the spirit of the mountains,
Our animal guides.
Our spirit guides,
Our archangels,
And all of the cosmic beings who are present for us today.
And to any other guardian,
Ally or being who is present,
Who we have forgotten to thank or acknowledge,
We thank.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
You are all released.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Most of all,
Thank you for your beautiful hearts.
For taking this time to show up for you today.
Thank you.
Starting to deepen your breath now,
Breathing deeply through the nose.
And letting go with an exhale.
Bringing some gentle movement into your body as you breathe deeply in.
And letting go,
Starting to roll the neck or the shoulders.
Twist the body as you breathe,
Bringing your awareness back into the space,
Back into your moment here.
And whenever you feel ready.
You can open your eyes.
Continue to sip on your cacao.
And from here choose what you most need.
If it's a gentle sit.
And sip.
If it's a journaling practice or a card pull.
Maybe you feel to dance to some music.
Your heart knows.
Your heart always knows.
Thank you for taking this time.
To sit with your heart today.
