Hello,
I'm so glad you're here.
This recording is part of a series focused on limiting beliefs.
And this one is for the part of you that used to just handling it all alone.
Maybe no one ever told you it was okay to ask for help.
So you just learn to carry things quietly and just get on with it.
We are going to tap through that today.
You don't need to believe any of this will work.
You don't even need to feel anything specific.
Just step along with me and say the words out loud if you can,
Or just in your head if that's easier right now.
Ready?
Let's start!
Tap on the side of your hand and say it.
Even though I feel like I have to do everything myself,
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though some part of me believes asking for help means I failed,
I accept myself anyways.
Even though I'm so used to doing everything alone,
I'm open to a different way.
Now take a deep breath and let's continue.
Eyebrow,
This feeling of doing it all alone.
Side of the eye,
I've carried it for so long.
Under the eye,
Nobody really taught me it was okay to ask for help.
Under your nose.
So I just learned to do it all alone.
All of it by myself.
Collarbone.
This tired feeling in my body,
Underarm,
I'm so used to it.
Top of the head.
This is how I've always done things.
Now we will do a round two eyebrow.
What if I didn't have to carry all of it alone?
Side of the eye.
What if needing help didn't mean that I failed?
On their eye.
I'm allowed to put some of this down.
Under the nose.
I'm allowed to ask.
I don't have to prove anything to anyone.
Collarbone.
I can let someone in,
Just a little bit.
Under your arm.
This doesn't make me weak.
Top of your head.
I'm allowed to be supported.
Now take a deep breath in and we'll start again the last round.
Eyebrow,
I choose to put some of this down.
Side eye.
I'm allowed to need people.
Under the eye.
I'm allowed to rest.
Under your nose.
I've done enough alone.
Chin.
I can let this be a little bit easier.
Collarbone.
I'm safe to ask for help.
Under your arm.
I don't have to earn support.
Top of your head,
I choose ease,
Starting today.
Now take a breath in and let it out slowly.
Just notice how you feel right now compared to when we started.
There is no pressure to feel anything.
Even a tiny shift counts.
You don't have to carry everything alone,
Not today and not ever.
Come back to this every time you need that reminder.
I will be posting more of those practices to tap into those limiting beliefs that are preventing you to have your best life.
