Look carefully.
There are 10 steps to the bottom of the staircase.
Take a look at your feet.
And when you're ready,
Place a foot on the first step.
Left foot first,
Then your right foot.
Then the second step.
Left foot first,
And then your right.
With every step that you go down,
You feel more and more relaxed.
Take your time.

When you have reached the bottom of the staircase,
You can see a door.
This door leads you to your safe and sacred garden.
What does your door look like?
What colour does it have?
What kind of material?
Is it big or small?
Narrow or wide?
Your door is perfect the way it is.

Slowly open it.
Once your door is open,
You step into a beautiful garden.
Take a look around.
Right in front of you,
You can see a path.
This path leads you to your safe space.
Follow the path and look around.
What do you see?
What does the sky look like?
What can you hear and smell?
Once you've reached your safe place,
Have a seat or lie down.
Take a slow and deep breath in.
This is your safe place.
This place is always there at any time.
You can always come here.
Maybe you want to invite someone or something to your place.
Someone or something that you really love that makes you feel happy.
This can be a person or an animal.
Everything is okay.
Listen carefully to the kind message that they have for you.
Thank them as they leave.
And with the beautiful message in your heart,
You look once again at your beautiful sacred garden.
This is your safe space.
Whisper to yourself,

You walk back to the staircase and slowly climb the stairs.
