Good morning.
It is going to be an amazing morning today,
Guys.
So I wanted to share a simple morning ritual that I've done for a while now and approaches the day with curiosity.
When we ask ourselves questions,
Our brain is hardwired to give us an answer.
So if we ask the right questions and give good answers,
Then we can predict the future because we created.
So this morning we have a chance to create our future,
Create what our day will look like.
So let's do just that.
And let's start it with a little calmness and quiet in our morning.
Go ahead and take a comfortable seat.
Try to see if you can raise your hips above the knees.
Tends to be easier on the back.
Sit upright but comfortable.
Alert,
Get relaxed.
Now we're going to quiet the mind using an ancient technique called humbaka.
It's practiced by the indigenous people of West Africa.
It's usually used for sleep and relaxation.
And today we're going to use it for quietness,
Focus,
Curiosity.
So the counting breath,
Counting style breath and how it works is we're going to count four on the inhale.
We're going to hold our breaths for four and then count to eight on the exhale.
Okay,
So go ahead and follow along with me and then we'll sink in a little bit deeper.
So we're going to inhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four,
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four,
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four,
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Take a deep breath.
Hold and slowly exhale.
As you exhale,
Just let everything sink and settle.
Now we should balance this individual muscles,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Arms.
Startupsuit.
Com Okay,
So the first question I like to ask,
Don't worry.
Open to some to the pure endless possibilities that we are as humans.
With this question gives us the ability to be curious about identities that we're placing on ourselves,
The characters or narratives we're choosing to play out subconsciously.
The question is,
Who am I today?
Who am I today?
Go ahead and repeat this in your mind.
Just ask yourself,
Who am I today?
Who am I today?
Who am I today?
Who am I today?
The second question we'll ask ourselves today puts us in a state of thankfulness,
Appreciation for what the universe has provided for us today.
We can all think of others on this planet who are much less fortunate than we are.
So this question is to realize that every breath that we breathe in is a gift and that just to be alive on this planet in this age,
This rock floating through the sky and flying around the sun is an amazing,
Spectacular miracle.
That second question we're going to ask ourselves today is what am I grateful for today?
What am I grateful for today?
What am I grateful for today?
The third question we ask ourselves reminds us that we are creators of this life.
We choose subconsciously or consciously what our life will be.
We can complain,
We can avoid,
We can process,
We can accept,
We can attach or detach.
But regardless,
We choose.
We are the creator.
So this third question we're going to ask ourselves today is what do I want to feel today?
What do I want to feel today?
Remember that when we ask ourselves questions,
Our brain gives us an answer by default.
So we have the decision,
We have the choice to decide what emotions we will feel and accept the ones that we're not choosing so that they can pass.
So ask yourself,
What do I want to feel today?
What do I want to feel today?
What do I want to feel today?
What do I want to feel today?
Okay.
Now just release your focus and just softly notice your breath.
You don't have to zone in on it.
Just softly think about how it feels.
You can feel the tension coming in,
Going out.
Sometimes we forget that we have boundless,
Limitless potential.
Sometimes we get so caught up in our heads,
Thoughts of the future in the past and what we're capable of and what we're not capable of.
We get in our own way.
We stop ourselves from actualizing the potential is already naturally there without us trying.
So I want you to take these three answers that you gave yourself today.
Take them to your day and hold that power that you are the creator of this day.
You are not a result.
We're not a victim of it.
You are the creator of it.
You are the painter.
Today is your canvas.
So release the limits.
Use the what ifs and just paint.
Now start bringing yourself back to the room.
Since the weight of your body on the ground below you,
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Start to come alive and very slowly,
Very gently open your eyes.
As soon as you open your eyes,
Think about how you feel now.
I want to thank you for joining me this morning and I hope you have beautiful next 24 hours.
It's full of boundless and limitless potential.
Have an amazing day.
Namaste.
