Hello,
Dear one,
And welcome to another day in the life of you.
In this meditation,
We're going to remind ourselves of the power of surrender and the power of infinite universal intelligence.
So first,
Find a comfortable seated position,
And when it's comfortable to do so,
Gently allow your eyes to close.
And bring your awareness to your breath.
Maybe that means being aware of the movements of your body as you inhale and exhale,
Your shoulders rising and falling,
Your chest expanding and contracting.
Maybe that's focusing on the breath through the nostrils or in the back of the throat or following the journey of the breath in through the nose,
Down the body,
To the lungs,
And back out again.
An important note is to not force the breath,
But simply witness it.
If you find that your mind wanders,
Simply bring it back to focusing on a specific point of the breath,
A specific sensation of your breathing.
Because then you'll find full weakened consciousness.
An amazing thing to notice as we focus on our breath is that it works automatically.
As our heart beats,
Provides blood to the rest of our body and our brain,
It's automatic.
As our lungs fill up with air and then release that air,
It's automatic.
Our hair grows automatically.
Our fingernails,
Our skin stretches and expands as we age and grow.
Our bones mature and form all without our conscious effort.
And this is just in our body.
The same goes for nature.
A tree doesn't ask for permission to grow from a seed.
A flower doesn't ask for directions of how to bloom.
Birds don't wonder and stop themselves from knowing how to fly or where to fly.
This is the innate power,
The universal intelligence,
The automatic response that wants life to be.
You'll notice this if you try to hold your breath.
Eventually,
Your conscious mind will lose power and the subconscious mind will take over and continue to take breaths.
As the universe wants you here.
Understanding infinite and universal intelligence means understanding the power of surrender.
Sometimes in life we try and then we try too hard and then we try to not try,
Which ends up trying more.
But if we can spend a moment truly surrendering to what is,
It can open new possibilities.
Sometimes it's too easy to become laser focused on what we think we should do,
The path we think we should take.
But infinite and universal intelligence teaches us that there is no right path,
Just as there is no wrong path.
And if we surrender to the laws of universal intelligence,
We can find peace in our own unique journey.
We can find solace in knowing that no matter what we are doing,
We are doing it perfectly.
Sometimes our minds can overshadow and cloud this truth.
But our minds,
Just like the rest of our body,
Are simply working on an automatic response.
Arms are firing,
Chemicals are being released,
All without the conscious effort.
And so if we can guide our conscious effort to let go,
Let go of the need to know,
Let go of the need to understand,
Let go of the need to be somewhere that we're not.
We can find more joy in the present moment.
The laws of nature don't over complicate the process of being.
But our minds can often do that.
So spend time practicing the art of surrender and appreciate just being exactly who and where you are.
Because it's perfectly divine and it's exactly where the universe wants you to be.
Now let's take a few moments and tap back into the breath.
Take a deep breath with me and release.
Surrender to what is.
Soften your focus,
Maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Start bringing your awareness back to the room around you.
When it's comfortable to do so,
Allow the automatic response from the muscles in your eyes to open.
Thank you.
Namaste.
Namaste.
You
