
Balanced & Renewed Energy For Your Day
This meditation is a lovely visualization to balance energy in your body. The aim of this meditation is to balance the energy on the right and the left side of the body, the masculine and feminine energies, and the energy of the sun and the moon. Transcript
Lie down on your back with your knees straight and your feet falling to the side.
Your arms are straight and at a slight angle away from your body with your palms facing up.
If this is uncomfortable for you,
Use pillows to adjust the position of your body until you are comfortable.
To create ease in your lower back,
You may want to place a pillow or two under your knees.
Place a pillow under your head if you need to.
There is no need to push yourself into discomfort now.
You need to be comfortable so that you can relax completely.
Check to make sure that your limbs are positioned as symmetrically as possible.
Your legs are at an equal distance from the middle of your body.
Your arms are placed at the same distance from your body on either side.
Once your body is taken care of and you are completely comfortable,
You can close your eyes or soften your gaze.
We will take three deep breaths together to allow ourselves to sink even further into a relaxed state.
Feel your body softening deeper into relaxation with every breath.
Take a deep breath in and slowly release your breath.
Another deep breath in and slowly exhale.
And a last deep breath in and release all tension with your breath.
Now you can gently return to breathing at your own pace.
Shift your attention to your left foot.
Imagine your left foot filling up with beautiful silver light from the moon.
Your foot is filled with this silvery light which spreads into your toes until your entire foot is glowing with light.
Your attention is entirely focused on the left side of your body now as you allow the light to spread from your left foot into your left ankle.
You move your awareness up your leg and allow the silver light to spread into your calf and lower leg.
As you shift your awareness through the left side of your body,
Notice the sensations that you feel as you focus on different parts of your body.
Now you shift your awareness to your left knee and as you do,
Your knee becomes filled with light.
Your awareness travels up your leg and into your thigh,
Filling your entire leg with light.
Your entire left leg,
Right down to your foot and toes,
Is now glowing with beautiful silver light.
As your awareness moves up your leg and into your hip,
It is as if an imaginary line has been drawn through the middle of your torso.
This line extends up your neck,
Through your chin,
Your nose,
Between your eyebrows and right to the top of your head.
Your focus remains only on the left side of your body.
Your awareness moves into your left hip,
Over your left hip bone and fills the space below your navel on the left side of your body with silver light.
You shift your awareness into the area above your navel on your left side,
Into the left side of your chest as well as your back.
Your awareness travels all the way to your shoulder and now the entire left side of your torso as well as your left leg is filled with bright silver light.
Next,
Your awareness moves into your upper arm and your left arm starts to glow with light.
Your elbow fills with light.
Your lower arm all the way to your wrist fills with light.
The silver light fills your left hand and fingers as your awareness shifts there.
Your entire left arm and hand,
The left side of your torso and your left leg is glowing and filled with light.
Gently shift your awareness back up your arm through your left shoulder and down the left side of your neck filling the left side of your neck with light.
Feel this light moving into the left side of your face,
Your jaw,
Your cheek,
The side of your nose,
Your left eye.
Allow the light to fill the entire left side of your head,
Front and back,
Right to the very top of your head.
Now the entire left side of your body is filled with the beautiful silvery light of the moon.
Before we move on to the right side of the body,
Spend a few moments experiencing the left side of your body as being filled with light while your right side is dark for now.
Your left light filled side feels expansive as light tends to expand while your right side may feel smaller.
Now that you have experienced the sensations of light and dark on the different sides of your body,
We will shift our attention to the right side of your body starting with your right foot.
Imagine your right foot filling up with beautiful golden light from the sun.
Your foot is filled with this golden light which spreads into your toes until your entire foot is glowing with light.
Your attention is entirely focused on the right side of your body now as you allow the light to spread from your right foot into your right ankle.
You move your awareness up your leg and allow the golden light to spread into your calf and lower leg.
As you shift your awareness through the right side of your body,

Now you shift your awareness to your right knee and as you do,

The golden light fills your right hand and fingers as your awareness shifts there.
Your entire right arm and hand,
The right side of your torso and your right leg is glowing and filled with light.
Gently shift your awareness back up your arm,
Through your right shoulder and down the right side of your neck,
Filling the right side of your neck with light.
Feel this light moving into the right side of your face,
Your jaw,
Your cheek,
The side of your nose,
Your right eye.
Allow the light to fill the entire right side of your head,
Front and back,
Right to the very top of your head.
Now the entire right side of your body is filled with the beautiful golden light of the sun,
While the left side of your body is filled with the silvery light of the moon.
Gently allow the silver light from your left side to flow into the golden light filling your right side.
Allow the golden light from your right side to flow into the silver light filling your left side.
Allow the light from each side of your body to flow and mix into each other until your entire body is glowing with pure white light.
Observe the two halves of your body.
Notice if there is a difference between how bright each of the two halves of your body are shining.
Send more light into any area of your body that may not be shining as brightly until the light in each half becomes completely balanced.
The two sides of your body are completely balanced now,
Your left side and your right side.
The energy of the sun and the moon,
Of masculine and feminine,
Finds balance in your body.
Shift your awareness to the middle of your chest,
To the point of balance between the upper and lower energies of your body.
Become aware of your breath flowing in and out of your body.
Notice that the light shining from your body is expanding with every inhalation,
Filling your entire aura with pure white light.
Effortlessly allow your aura to expand outwards while you relax in a state of perfect harmony and balance.
Be in this moment.
You can slowly start to make small movements with your fingers and your toes.
Raise your arms above your head and give your body a lovely stretch.
Pull onto your right side.
When you are ready,
You can slowly sit up,
Ready to continue your day with a feeling of renewed and balanced energy.
