Welcome to this guided sleep meditation which was made to help you drifting into a wonderfully relaxed sleep.
Lie down comfortably and relaxed in your bed.
Take your time to find a position in which you can fully relax.
Nestle down deeply into your cushions and duvet.
Take a deep breath in and sigh when breathing out.
Release your day with this sigh and if you wish,
Repeat this until you feel lighter and already more relaxed.
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
Close your eyes and let your breath flow naturally.
Feel how the air is streaming in through your nose.
How it fills your lungs and expands your belly.
Feel it leave through your mouth,
Taking all your worries and thoughts with it.
Feel the relaxing energy that every breath carries and how it moves through your body like gentle waves rolling onto the beach.
Imagine you are the wind that creates the waves on the ocean.
Breathe in deeply and with breathing out you move the water to the beach.
When you breathe in,
You pull the water towards you and breathing out you create beautiful waves that gently roll onto the beach and flow around the rocks and paint pictures into the sand.
You breathe slowly and calmly in and out.
Warm steady breath,
Very even and very relaxed.
Feel how your breathing relaxes you.
Feel your body dissolving more and more.
Feel how your feet become warm and loose.
Feel the pleasant heaviness of relaxation from them.
Notice how your legs,
Your bum,
Your back,
Your arms and your head sink deeper and deeper into the mattress and your pillow.
Feel how the duvet caresses you and enraps you in its warmth and safety.
You feel wonderfully heavy,
Relaxed and warm.
Perfectly loose and detached.
So warm and pleasant.
There is nothing you have to do right now except for breathing.
Easy and slow.
Calm and peaceful.
Just let yourself drift on the waves of your breath.
Relax.
You are so sleepy.
So wonderfully sleepy.
And so comfortable.
So warm.
With each breath in you become more and more sleepy.
You drift away more and more.
Your breath flows easily and freely.
Effortlessly.
There is no need to control your breath.
Just observe it.
Feel how natural it is.
How slow.
So relaxing.
So peaceful.
Allow your body to relax more and more until you let it go and forget that it is there.
You now exist only as the air that moves the waves on the ocean.
Beautiful waves.
Slow and gentle waves.
