this guided meditation draws inspiration from the teachings about heart coherence and the HeartMath Institute. by intentionally slowing down and harmonizing our breath, we can attain a state of steady heart rate known as heart coherence. as we merge this coherent heart coherence with elevated emotions, a powerful and magnetic energy is created.

Begin to set yourself up in a comfortable position.

Soften your shoulders down away from your ears.

Gently close your eyes.

Today we are going to do a guided meditation inspired by the work of Dr.

Joe Dispenza.

Start off by simply noticing where your awareness is in this moment.

We have a tendency to trap our awareness up in our heads and up with our thoughts.

Play around with walking your awareness down to your heart center.

Allow that to be your new place of rest.

You may find it helpful to take the palm of one of your hands and place it over your heart space.

As you breathe in,

Feel your heart rise up into the palm of your hand.

As you breathe out,

Feel it fall back down.

Breathing in with your awareness at your heart.

Breathing out with your awareness at your heart.

Now let's add in some very gentle breath work.

Take a full deep inhale in through your nose,

Fill up your lungs and take a slow exhale back out.

Take a full deep inhale in through your nose,

Fill up your lungs and slowly exhale out.

Now breathe in to the count of 1,

2,

3,

4,

5.

Breathe out to the count of 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Repeat breathe in for 1,

2,

3,

4,

5.

Breathe out for 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Continue this pattern on your own,

Counting in your mind,

Maintaining all of your focus on your heart space.

Breath is rising,

Breath is falling.

Heart is rising,

Heart is falling.

All is well.

Begin to bring about some natural feelings of gratitude,

Joy and love.

Infuse your heart space with that positive energy.

For a steady breath,

A steady heart rate and an elevated emotion creates a very powerful place to reside.

Soak it all in.

Stay here for as long as you would like to.
