Welcome to this meditation on the High Priestess card of the Tarot.
The High Priestess is a guide for us.
She guides us into our own inner depths and into the mysteries of life.
But maybe the most important thing about the high priestess is that she reminds us of the powerful wisdom that we all have inside of us.
And that is our intuition.
And so you might already know that you're intuitive,
But maybe you don't know how to work with it consistently,
Or you may not always trust it.
And some of us just may not believe we're intuitive.
And I want to let you know that that is just not true.
We're all born with intuition.
Anytime you have felt a vibe or sense that something was off,
That is your intuition.
And the truth is,
If you have a body,
You have intuition.
Unfortunately,
In our culture,
We're conditioned to believe that what comes through our intuition isn't real or it's unreliable.
And so it really doesn't have any value for the most part in our culture.
Especially in this age of information and AI where we are constantly conditioned to outsource wisdom.
Let's ask Google,
Let's ask AI.
The High Priestess wants us to reconnect with our own inner wisdom,
To remind us that it's there.
So this meditation is a guide into two portals of intuition.
So we all have many different portals of intuition.
And we're going to start with these two as a way to just start forging.
A clearer pathway to your own inner wisdom and so that you can start accessing it with more ease and building a deeper trust in what comes through.
So let's begin.
Come into a comfortable seated position.
You can lie down if you're not feeling too sleepy.
We want you to feel relaxed.
But not asleep.
And once you have found that comfortable position for yourself,
Bring your attention to your breath.
Just noticing how your breath is in this moment and slowing it down a little bit.
So sometimes I find it's easiest to slow the breath down if I count it.
So you may inhale for a slow count of four and exhale for a slow count of four.
Just really regulate your breath.
Regulate your nervous system.
Allow your breath to create a cradle around you,
To hold you,
Support you.
And with each breath,
You're feeling more support,
More comfort.
And more softening in the body.
So you might notice if you can soften your bone.
Soften in some of the muscles in the body.
Can you soften in the tongue?
And what if you could soften your teeth?
And with each exhale,
Just noticing how or where you can soften just a little bit more.
And you might notice your mind and your thoughts softening.
Feeling any edginess.
Rounding out.
And then I'd like you to bring your attention to your belly.
You may even want to put one or both hands on your belly if you'd like.
So our gut is lined with hundreds of millions of neurons,
More than our spinal cord.
And they inform how we function physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally.
And even modern science can't deny that there is an incredible wisdom in the belly.
Now calling it the second brain.
And there are some who will even call the gut our first brain.
So there's no argument here that.
Your belly is a hub of intelligence.
It's regulating so many systems in the body.
It's keeping you alive.
So I invite you to just take a moment here and acknowledge and honor this wisdom within.
And recognize that it's always there,
It's always available to you.
And so I invite you to just see if you can surrender.
To the wisdom.
Out of the belly.
Taking some deep,
Easy breaths into the belly.
Lighting it up with some fresh oxygen,
Some fresh prana.
And just really tapping in to this portal.
Of wisdom within you.
Appreciating it.
And also noticing if there's anything that your gut wants you to know or feel in this moment.
So I'll pause in a moment.
So just take some time when I do that to simply be open.
To receive any wisdom that your belly wants to share with you.
Without judging it or feeling like you need to analyze it in this moment,
Just receive.
And appreciate any information that comes through.
Don't worry if nothing's coming through.
Just simply be in a state of reception.
Part of this is really just practicing reception.
So take a moment and pause here to give you this time to connect.
With the wisdom of your gut.
And then take it a moment to think.
Your gut,
Your belly again.
Towards a wisdom for the way in which it has guided you many times,
Even if you weren't aware of it.
Thank you.
And now I'm going to invite you to move your attention from Your gut.
Up into your heart.
Another incredible organ that has a really complex neural network around it that is often referred to as the heart brain.
So here the heart consists of the same neurotransmitters,
Proteins,
Ganglia,
And support cells that are found in the brain.
And so this means that the heart can learn,
It can remember.
It can make decisions.
And it can feel and sense independently of the brain.
So you may want to bring a hand to your heart center or both hands.
And I invite you to breathe into this sensitive and powerful organ.
So the heart has this electromagnetic field.
And pretty powerful.
It extends in all directions around your body.
Sometimes up to several feet away.
And because of this,
The heart is able to sense information beyond the body.
And there's been research done.
That shows that the heart actually has pre-knowledge of future events and then sends that information to the brain.
So it's as if this electromagnetic field can pick up on the future.
Isn't that incredible?
Let's just take a moment and appreciate.
This incredible heart field that we have.
That is always collecting information for us that we're not even aware of.
And how this information is.
Informing some of our decisions that,
You know,
Ultimately may be serving our highest good.
So just say thank you.
Thank you,
Heart.
And if you haven't already,
You might want to imagine your heart's energetic field extending all the way around you.
Notice the size of your field.
Is it just a few feet in front of you or is it several feet around you?
And then I invite you to bring your attention right into your heart center.
And I'm gonna ask you to simply notice any emotions that arise.
So emotions are considered.
One of the primary languages of The heart.
And so if you have a tendency to push away difficult emotions,
This portal to our intuition.
Wants to remind you that these emotions actually help us understand situations.
A little bit better from a more expansive space.
And they allow us to move through an experience with more compassion for ourselves and others.
So I'm going to give you a moment here to really connect with your heart space.
It's emotional wisdom.
It's wisdom of the future.
And notice if there is anything that your emotions or that heart intelligence wants to share with you today.
And again,
No need to judge or analyze right now.
Just simply see if you can be in a state of reception.
And if nothing.
.
.
Seems to be coming through today.
That's okay,
Too.
We'll take a moment and pause here and just receive any emotions or heart wisdom.
That your heart would like to share today.
And go ahead and take a moment to thank the heart for any emotions,
Emotional wisdom,
Or heart intelligence,
Any messages that came through for you through the portal of your heart.
And Take a moment and thank the heart for this wisdom.
And for all of the times in your life,
It has helped you understand something better,
Helped you make a decision.
Or seeing the future.
To help you make a better choice around something.
Thank you,
Heart.
Thank you for your wisdom.
And I'd like to invite you now to keep one hand on the heart and bring one hand.
Onto the belly.
And bring your breath into each of these wisdom centers.
So inhaling into the belly and heart.
And exhaling from the belly.
And heart.
Offering each of these portals to your intuition.
Deep respect.
The kind of respect you would offer a wise oracle.
Acknowledge the intelligence and the wisdom that they offer you.
And then I also invite you to set an intention to tune into them more often.
Especially if you're trying to make a decision about something or trying to understand something.
Instead of relying on your head or Google or AI,
Can you check in first with your gut?
What does your gut have to say?
And you check in with your heart.
What does it want to share with you?
And remember,
This is a practice.
Especially if you are not used to tuning into your heart and belly.
It may take some time to understand how they're communicating with you.
But as you continue to set the intention to tune into them,
As you continue to actually tune into them and care for them.
And most of all,
Begin listening to them.
This will really help build a deeper relationship with your intuition.
So that you can trust it.
So that you can start making decisions that are based on a wisdom that no one else has access to but you.
A wisdom that knows what's best for your highest good.
And so another couple of breaths here just softening into whatever wisdom these portals have offered you in the past.
What they're offering you right now and any wisdom they'll offer you in the future.
