Welcome to this meditation on the medicine of the lover's card of the tarot.
We might look at this card and assume it must be about romantic love.
We see a man and a woman.
With an angel above them.
But I see another meaning to this card,
A deeper meaning,
Where the card represents a divine union within ourselves.
This card asks us to find a path to unite opposing or complementary energies within,
Such as our masculine and feminine energies,
The wisdom of the intellect,
The wisdom of the body,
As is represented by the tree of life and the tree of knowledge on this card.
Perhaps in more grounded karms,
We could say that this card is an invitation to be,
Feel,
And bring in.
More unconditional love to all of the parts of you.
The masculine,
The feminine.
The child,
The adult,
The rational and the intuitive mind.
Even the inner critic.
The perfectionist.
Along with the healer and the warrior.
All of these pieces,
Some of which may feel at odds with each other.
The more we can start to love our whole selves,
The more we remember how to truly love others,
Which is such a great balm in this time of polarity and division.
I'd even go so far as to say that when we Feel more love for all the pieces of ourselves.
We also magnetize all kinds of higher quality love to ourselves,
Whether that's romantic love,
Divine,
Or otherwise.
And so this meditation is dedicated to calling in the spirit of this unconditional love.
A love that knows no bounds.
And is infinitely abundant.
And reminds each of us that we have access to this great love,
And that it is also within us.
So I recommend doing this meditation either lying down or sitting in a chair that has a back.
And when you're ready,
Go ahead and close your eyes or lower your gaze and bring your attention to your breath.
If you are sitting in a chair,
Just making sure your feet are flat on the ground.
And as you breathe,
Begin to soften in the body.
So on each exhale,
Just noticing if there is some part of the body where you can soften,
Perhaps in the jaw,
Around the eyes.
And the shoulders.
Maybe the hip.
Maybe your feet.
And just continue taking some nice even breaths.
And on the exhales,
Softening something.
And the more we soften,
The more this allows us to be in a state of reception.
To connect.
With and receive this universal magnificent and magnanimous unconditional spirit of love.
So I invite you to begin to bring awareness to this space that's in front of your body.
So maybe even just from your body and foot out.
Maybe two or three feet out at the most.
This is the space in which we interact with the world.
How we show up,
How we present ourselves.
How others come to know us.
And so just taking this moment to become aware of that space.
And then you're going to move your attention a little bit back more into your body.
And this is the space where.
We relate to ourselves.
Where we notice our own sensations,
Thoughts,
Feelings.
Just taking a moment to be here in your body.
And then I invite you to bring awareness to the space behind your body.
This is the space where we find support from and connection to the universe.
And it's great love for us.
So if you're sitting in a chair or lying on the ground,
Really just lean into that support of the chair back.
Or the ground and feel yourself supported.
Not just physically,
But also by.
The spirit of love from the universe.
Holding you.
This is a warm and welcoming energy.
It is the energy of belonging.
This love from the universe.
Loves you unconditionally.
Doesn't matter who you are.
It doesn't matter what you did today or what you didn't do.
That means nothing to the spirit of love.
It simply loves you.
For who you are.
In each and every moment.
In every moment,
You are worthy.
Of love.
In every moment you belong.
In love.
And the more you feel this love,
The more you start to remember that you are the love.
And we have times in our lives where we don't feel this love.
We don't feel the support from the universe.
There may be times in our lives where we don't believe that we are worthy.
Or that we belong.
But this is only because we've forgotten.
Forgotten about our connection?
And forgotten that we actually are love.
Love is always here.
No matter how badly you think you might've messed something up.
Love is here to love you unconditionally.
So on your next inhale,
I want you to feel love's energy coming through the backside of your body and directly into your heart.
Filling your heart with this abundant love and support and belonging.
You might imagine it as a beautiful white light filling and swirling in and around your heart.
Healing,
Whatever needs to be healed there.
And there is no end to this love.
So allow it to pour into your heart.
You can't take too much.
It is yours.
To take.
And as your heart begins to feel.
Full of this love.
Allow that love to start to move into your body.
You might feel it starting to move down into the belly.
Loving your belly.
You might feel it moving into the hips and legs.
Still filling your heart and filling your entire body all the way down to your toes.
Spreading through the chest and shoulders.
Down the arms.
All the way out to the tips of your fingers.
And moving from the heart up into the neck and throat.
And up into the head.
Just swirling about in your body.
Embracing every bit of you.
Every bone,
Every tissue,
Every cell.
Every thought.
Every fear,
Every joy.
Love holds all of this for you in its embrace.
And you can just keep filling your heart,
Your body,
And your mind with this abundant love.
And allow yourself to just be here.
And love.
Feeling love envelop and embrace the parts of you that even feel contradictory,
That feel at odds with.
Who you think you should be,
Or who you believe you are,
Or who others think you should be.
Because all of those pieces are pieces of you in this moment.
And love accepts all of you.
All of the pieces of you.
Love accepts you as you are in this moment.
And when we hold all of the pieces of ourselves in this light and accepting nature of unconditional love.
We can actually begin to see these pieces more.
Clearly,
More compassionately.
We may begin to understand better why they are here in the first place.
And how we can bring them into the fold of our beingness in a way that makes sense.
In a way that creates more harmony within.
In a way that allows us to feel more whole.
Because this is the medicine of love.
It allows us to see that all of these pieces are worthy.
They're valuable.
How even the inner critic or perfectionist the so-called crybaby or the part of us that we might label as lazy.
When we hold it in this light of love,
We may begin to see how they can each offer us insights.
Or gifts.
And a deeper,
More compassionate understanding of ourselves.
We can offer all of these pieces of ourselves up to love's embrace.
So it can hold us in our wholeness.
So it can remind us of our own capacity to love ourselves in a big way.
To love ourselves unconditionally.
Love all of the people we have been in the past.
To love who we are in the present.
And to love who we will become.
And so you can stay here breathing in and resting in this love as you continue,
You can keep bringing it into your heart into your body.
Any parts of you that need to feel more healing or wholeness,
It's 100% okay to just stay right in that space and be with your own healing and wholeness.
But you also have the option to shift a little bit if this feels available to you.
And you can begin to breathe in more of that spirit of love from behind you and into the heart.
And on an exhale,
Allow that love to pour out in front of you.
Into that space where you connect with the world.
With others.
Just allow this space of connection in front of you to be filled with this beautiful white light,
This unconditional love.
Love that loves wholly.
That does not pick others apart.
Deciding what you like or don't like,
But instead accepting who they are wholly and loving them as they are.
And this love is not to be confused with being a doormat for others.
Offering love unconditionally doesn't mean you need to have relationships with toxic people or lose your boundaries.
Love is acceptance that some people will be toxic.
Some will try to treat you like a doormat.
And love is also the wisdom that you can create boundaries and distance,
That you are not a doormat.
That you don't need to gain anyone and everyone's love.
Because you are the love.
Already within you.
So take a moment here to just.
Be with wherever you are at if you're just continuing to fill yourself and your body with love.
Or if you're continuing to fill that space in front of you with love.
You might even consider.
Imagining a person within that space in front of you that you may feel challenged by.
And see if there is a way that you can.
Offer this unconditional love to them.
And if that doesn't feel right,
That is totally okay.
This is an experiment.
And we'll just take a few more moments here.
Being with this love.
And then I invite you to take a moment here to.
Check in directly with the spirit of love that's moving through you.
And see if it has any message for you today.
Just open your heart and mind to anything that may want to come through.
And no pressure if nothing comes through right now,
Maybe what you really need is just to feel the love.
And then let's take this moment to thank love for any message that may have come through or that might come through later.
And to thank love for its embrace of us.
It's support.
To offer gratitude for reminding us that we are love and we can connect with love anytime.
And especially if we are feeling challenged or fearful or have tough decisions to make.
We can always.
Put a call into love.
Always available to us.
And then when you're ready,
Go ahead and start to bring some slow movements into the fingers and toes.
Maybe move your head slowly from side to side.
And when you're ready Slowly open the eyes.
Thank you for joining me.
May you remember that you carry this love with you.
In every moment and every encounter.
