Find a comfortable position.
Seated or lying down.
And when you're ready,
Allow your eyes to gently close.
And take a moment to really arrive.
Allowing the outside world to fade away Take a slow breath in through the nose and let it go.
There's nothing you need to fix right now and nothing you need to figure out This time belongs entirely to you.
Now bring your attention to your body.
And start by noticing your points of contact so wherever your body meets the surface beneath you That could be your feet on the floor or the weight of your back being held.
Observe the sensation of surrendering to gravity.
Of being held.
Start to soften each part of the body.
Starting at the top of the head.
Releasing tension from the forehead behind the eyes.
Softening the jaw and the throat and allowing the shoulders to drop.
Then move through the chest and the belly and if you notice any tension anywhere Breathe gently into that area so that it becomes more relaxed.
Feel the weight of your arms and your hands the hips and the thighs and the backs of the knees your feet on the ground.
And allow all that tension to dissolve.
Knowing that right now,
You are here Now gently invite your imagination to open.
Imagine that you're standing on a beach,
Early in the morning,
Just after sunrise.
The sky is vast and soft.
Pale gold and a blush of rose at the edges.
And the last traces of night are quietly fading.
The sun is low and gentle and the light is warm.
The sand beneath your feet is cool and fine.
In front of you,
The sea stretches out as far as you can see,
With long,
Easy waves rolling in and pulling back.
The sea has a beautiful rhythm.
The air is fresh and cool against your skin and a light breeze moves across your face.
You feel yourself breathing in that clean morning air and you're feeling refreshed and revitalized See yourself walking a little way along the shore and finding a rock that's just right.
Take a seat on that rock.
From here you can take in the whole expanse of the sea.
And the light catching the water and the horizon opening up in every direction.
Take a moment to see these colors and smell the salt in the air.
Listening to the steady pulse of the ocean.
You are completely safe here.
And now as you sit quietly you notice a figure in the distance They're walking along the shoreline towards you.
And they're unhurried.
As they get closer,
Something in you stirs.
A recognition.
And then you realize that this is your wiser self.
This is a version of you who has already walked through the things that you're still moving through,
And who has found their way to something settled and true.
This is a version of you who knows deeply who they are.
Observe how they look as they come towards you.
Notice what they're wearing,
Their facial expression,
How they carry themselves.
There's nothing strained or performed.
There's a quiet and natural confidence.
And as you sit looking at each other you know that they've come to share something with you.
It might come as words,
Or it might rise as a feeling in the body,
Or a sense of something.
So open yourself to receive whatever message needs to come just be with your wiser self and trust whatever arises you don't need to understand the message fully right now and you don't need to do anything with it Simply receive.
And if there's something you've been carrying,
Something you haven't known what to do with you might offer that to them.
When you feel ready,
Gently place your hand over your heart take a breath and in your own words,
In whatever way feels true,
Thank them for their presence and their wisdom.
And when you're ready,
Ask if you may merge together and allow their presence to merge with yours And as you visualize your present self stepping into your higher self,
You feel that quiet confidence and that self-assuredness.
You feel connected and strong Take a moment to enjoy this feeling.
Maybe there's also warmth in the body,
Or a lightness,
Or a sense of being more yourself.
Whatever you're feeling,
Let it land.
Now allow the image of the beach and the morning light and the sea to disappear.
Knowing that you can come back to meet your wiser self at any time.
Bring your awareness back into your body by noticing the ground beneath you and the points of contact take another breath and let it bring you all the way back Feel the space around you and the room that you're in.
And whenever you're ready,
In your own time,
Allow your eyes to gently open.
Every time you feel the breeze on your face or you hear the sea or you catch yourself being still for a moment,
Remember that your wiser self is here within you.
